As a customer I’ve spent good money purchasing chapters. I don’t think it’s acceptable that Authors are able to have a book ongoing for over 3 years and every few months put a short chapter up, particularly when they are putting chapters up for other books. These authors don’t care about their customers, and it seems neither does iReader as by doing nothing is complicit. ### 1/5 — Don’t believe all the 5 stars…. *2025-09-06, version 10.8.41* They give you coins/ivouchers for 5 stars. Each chapter so far is 180 coins, which is ridiculous. And they don’t give many options to earn like other apps do. Watching adds takes 5+ minutes because of the add, then have to wait another 2 minutes before you can watch the next one, and it doesn’t give you the 75 coins like it says. You only get 6, so you have to watch all 12 adds to get the 75 🙄 all this app is is a money grab. Also I just realized that there is an expiration date for your ivouchers witch is only a 7 day expiration time aka only available for 7 days witch is really bad since that ends up meaning if something happens and you accidentally miss a check in your screwed till your points get back on track witch I’ve yet to get to after having a emergency and forgetting to check in. This is insane!!!! The only reason I sill have the app is because of the book I’m reading I can’t find it anywhere else!!! I would have bought the book if I could but I refuse to pay to read the book on this App only. I downloaded to complete a story called Your late love means nothing, and i got to chapter 8 and had to pay over $30-45 for coins to continue it!!! this is outrageous for a book !! Then i came to app store to read reviews and what i seen is grounds for a lawsuit, not only are you taking money from canceled subscriptions but you are not responding to customer service tickets or refunding money that dose not BELONG TO YOU !!! I have also seen that plenty of people even foreigners are enraged at this ! I have been attempting to cancel my subscription for months. They send the same generic email on how to cancel where the link provided does NOT work, and they continue to charge you WEEKLY. I’m now attempting to work with PayPal to stop payments. This is frustrating and I have zero desire to reengage with this application. I have had zero follow up from their “help desk”. I would avoid this app and tread very lightly if you decided to engage with it. It’s fine, whatever. But I decided I didn’t want to pay the subscription fee. I canceled auto renewal. Wasn’t in my Apple subscriptions. I used PayPal to pay and I’m still getting charged. There’s no way to contact the provider and I can’t dispute with PayPal because I approved the original payment and the app never sent an email or text or anything confirming the cancellation. ### 1/5 — Impossible to reach support *2025-11-30, version 10.8.41* After requesting cancellation, I received an email that said to give them 48 hours.
