Now though it will crash, especially when trying to take a photo of the cover. I find this a convenient feature to remind me of the book, in the case that the cover on the Web isn’t the same as the cover on my book. Sometimes they get changed. Other than that, I love it, I just wish this bug would get squashed. It looks like the app isn’t maintained anymore. ### 3/5 — Love it and Hate it *2022-03-31, version 1.19.9* I like this app much more than Google Reads. It is user friendly and does it exactly what I need/want. I only keep track of books I have read for myself. HOWEVER, books are never listed through the web search and I always have to add books manually and add a picture. The search hardly ever has books I am reading. These are books that are available in kindle unlimited and should definitely be accessible to add to my reading list through this app. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2020-08-17, version 1.19.9* I have had this app for years and years. I much prefer it to goodreads as I’m not interested in ads or what anyone else is reading. I simply like to track what I’m reading and store my collection. I also like comparing how much I’ve read from month to month and year to year. I would give this app 5 stars but a recent update removed the ability to scan physical books. Since the update it also doesn’t seem as good at finding books. So ... four stars .. due to bad update!! Bring back the scan ability please!! ### 3/5 — Search function -not great *2020-06-01, version 1.19.9* I’ve had this app for years and really enjoyed it. Then it was updated to remove the scan tool - annoying but manageable since most of my books are ebooks anyway. But lately I’ve had an increasingly frustrating time with the search tool. Even when entering an ISBN number it turns up no results. If I wait and try later often the exact same search works. It’s frustrating to spend 10 minutes trying to add a common and popular book because of a flawed search device. Many of them either littered with ads, or were too flashy to use habitually and stay hooked on it. This app is easy to use, straightforward… And easily shows your statistics regarding your reading habits. You can also make notes as you read your books, without having to hunt for the tab you want. I love it because I can finally keep track of what I've read in an organized file and share with other book lovers. Thus, you can’t export your data into another app. Whenever I’ve tried to export my data, I get a 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable error message. I’ve tried to contact. I read it now, but they did not respond. I decided to switch to another app because I read it now would not work properly on my iPhone 13. I pressed link to get new password several times but no email was sent. As a result I can now not access my historic data ... so what was the sense of inserting it? Very frustrated. The update (May 2011) has ruined any chance of me using the app again as it will NO LONGER LOAD from my iTunes to my iTouch. It simply disapeared one day and can't be put back. I'm not even sure if all my stored data is backed up somewhere or if it's lost. I would have to invest $500 into the new iTouch with that crappy 0.97MP camera to find that out. And as I do not have secondary 'books-read' log I have lost more then an app, I have lost a great deal of time I used to log in my books and a list of my read books that I will not likely ever recover. SHAME ON YOU!! PS. the Wonjae Choi web as well as ireaditnow support web is NON EXISTENT!
