When I updated to OS9 my old iRecord deleted all of my saved lectures. I had to download it again. It's different. It only records for a few seconds, so it's useless.

If the tool isn't recording, check your settings. Look for the app in the settings, make sure microphone is selected in the app. When the app is really recording blue rings expand and contract as it records. My experience is that, if there are no rings, its not recording.

It works with my new Macally iVoice Pro and 3.1.2. The interface is basic, the default settings are very low quality and there are issues getting larger files out of the device.
