Look away. Every 20 minutes. iRetina is the simple, beautiful way to give your eyes a break during long screen days. It's built on the 20-20-20 rule optometrists recommend: every 20 minutes, look at something about 20 feet away for 20 seconds. When it's time for a break, iRetina gently pauses the apps that pull you back in and shows a calm break screen — with a live countdown right in your Dynamic Island and on your Lock Screen. WHY IRETINA • Automatic reminders — set your interval once and forget it • Real breaks, not just notifications — the apps you choose are shielded until your break is over • Live countdown in the Dynamic Island, on the Lock Screen, and in Home Screen widgets • You decide which apps to pause • Your schedule, your way — adjust your interval and break length • Do Not Disturb — pause breaks for an hour when you need to focus • Strict mode — no skipping, for when you really need the break • Calm break themes to match your style PRIVATE BY DESIGN iRetina uses Apple's Screen Time framework to shield the apps you pick. It never records your screen, reads your messages, or tracks what you do in other apps. Everything happens privately on your iPhone. BUILT FOR IPHONE Live Activities in the Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro and newer) and on the Lock Screen for every supported iPhone, plus Home Screen widgets. Requires iOS 16 or later. IRETINA PRO Unlock everything with iRetina Pro: $2.99/month or $29.99/year, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. • Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. I really wish I had discovered it a long time ago! It gives my eyes and even my neck a much needed break from constant looking at the screen. I changed the break settings to 30 seconds, which gives me enough time not only to look into the distance and rest my eyes, but also to stretch my neck. Simple idea, but incredibly useful. Thank you to the developers for creating such a helpful app! **Developer response:** Thank you so much Mike! We’re really glad iRetina is helping you take regular breaks and even stretch your neck.
