Also, I would like to edit the start day of the week, I like Monday to be the first day. It would be nice as well to be able to change the name of “points” to stars as I use a seperate “points system”. 4 “stars” equals 1 point, 1 point is 15 minutes of screen time. ### 4/5 — Chore Tracker *2020-04-05, version 3.7* Very user friendly. I love the option to add your own specific reward and goals. Free version only allows 1 child. This is very deceptive in the description. ### 4/5 — Overall worth it *2019-12-18, version 3.7* It’s pretty good if you pay for the upgraded version. If you add another person on to help with it (an adult to moderate not another child to keep track of) then they must purchase the upgrade too or your account will go back to the simplistic version. Meaning you can only pick about 4 tasks/chores unless they too upgrade and then you both will be able to use all the features. When you update it, change the chores around mostly, it doesn’t show up right away. It took a couple days for mine to sync up and match what I had inputted. Otherwise it’s a lovely way to keep track and I even use it for myself to more easily visualize what I’ve accomplished and what I have left to do. ### 3/5 — Tech support *2019-10-24, version 3.7* This app has been great! However, I noticed if I payout rewards during the dayxi can no longer continue to give points for the remainder of the day! Why is that? Alsoxi accidentally paid out and there is no way to give the points back that I can figure out. I'd like to rate the app a 5 but not being able to do these things hinders the process. I have been using it for 3 days and I still often find myself forgetting g how to go edit a reward or task but over time I will get it and then it will be easier because I will be used to it. ### 2/5 — Disappointing *2019-07-02, version 3.7* Such a great idea, but much to be desired. The navigation/editing is not very intuitive. I have also reached out twice to them for help on how to delete a star and no response. You should have the option to delete the stars as well. Accidents and 3yo’s playing with your phone happen. ### 4/5 — Good app *2019-02-20, version 3.7* So far, I like the app. I wish it had option to deduct points in different categories. I’d also like to see it track weekly progress that highlights strengths and weaknesses. Also, it would great to link this with my sons iPod so he can track it but can’t do anything on it. The $3.99 premium price isn’t too bad for what the app can do. Customize behaviors, points, rewards, etc. However, this would’ve been 5 Stars if the developer was not trying to make me pay $3.99 for every device I use that’s signed into my Apple ID. I understand why, but I can’t bring myself to upgrade to premium on my wife’s phone and both our iPads when they’re all signed into the same account. ### 2/5 — Not ideal for more than 1 child *2018-03-22, version 3.7* Good concept - bad execution. If you want to reward all of your children you need to upgrade. Even if you do upgrade you have to PAY to upgrade on both parents devices even if it’s on family share. Keep Searching ### 4/5 — Great for reward system anywhere *2018-03-11, version 3.7* Update: After waiting for about a week, I was finally able to access the upgraded features. The app has been great as far as the behavior/reward function goes for our 4 year old. Our oldest thrives on rewards so we like that we can access a reward system anywhere, not just at home. The interface could be a little more user friendly for setting things up, but it just takes getting used to where to find each feature. My biggest gripe is that I paid $3.99 for the upgrade a week ago so I could also add my 2 year old and have not been able to access the upgraded features! I’ve contacted the developers twice about this issue. I heard back once only with info explaining what the upgrade entails but not resolving the problem. I still have no results and am very frustrated! If the problem is ever resolved and I’m satisfied, I will update my review. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Hopelessly broken *2022-11-15, version 3.7* App does not sync reliably between multiple devices so it’s difficult for my husband and I to know how many stars the kids really have. The app also started glitching and adding multiple stars rather than just one. I deleted the app and then re installed it and it won’t let me log into my account. Completely useless. ### 1/5 — I used to love this app! Huge problem! *2021-03-15, version 3.7* So this app was everything that I could dream of. I bought it for multiple devices and my kids loved it! It changed the way things worked in my house. However on my iPad it won’t sync. The last sync it had was May 2020! I have tried the password reset many many times but it never sends an email! I have emailed support and gotten no response and begged for help through reviews! PLEASE HELP! ### 1/5 — Incorrect math *2019-02-20, version 3.7* I was excited about the app, bought it for 2 devices, and spent time customizing the goals and rewards. The problem is that the number of points awarded and number of rewards paid out don’t accurately reflect what we have done. Very frustrating! We ended up adding things on our own so a paper chart would have been easier. I reached out to customer service twice but didn’t get a response. The concept is great but this glitch makes it useless. ### 1/5 — App stinks *2018-12-08, version 3.7* There is a coding bug that always changes your stars/points. Whenever I go onto a week and then leave, it totally changes everything! It ruins the point! Also, you can only add 4 tasks before it tells you to buy more tasks and you can only add one child before it tells you to buy more. To buy it asks you to buy a whole premium set then get it for $3.99. It is a waste. ### 1/5 — Crashing *2017-11-26, version 3.6* The app now crashes across each of my kids iPads and my phone. Sent email a week ago to the iRewards folks and haven’t heard back. Unfortunately my kids had a bunch of stars/rewards I owe them and I can’t see track it. Come on guys, at least be responsible enough to respond. ### 1/5 — App issues but has potential *2017-11-16, version 3.6* UPDATE- AFTER UNLINKING MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT THE APP WORKED; ***HOWEVER*** AFTER UPDATING TO iOS 11.1 the APP NO LONGER EVEN OPENS 😣 After setting up kids in irewards, I synced to my account with my Facebook. Since doing so, the app will not open. I deleted the app and reinstalled, which deleted everything I had set up. Basically, if you don't feel like doing a bunch of work for nothing don't hit the select to sync with Facebook option!!! Developers finally wrote me back and told me error would be fixed with next update -who knows when that will be! If you're thinking about purchasing this app you should make sure they have released a new update. The last update was May 2017 which is the version I’m having problems with. So if it has not been updated then don't bother wasting your money! Hopefully they resolve this issue soon, because it has the potential to be very useful! ### 2/5 — Buggy *2022-11-08, version 3.7* The stars have begun disappearing and showing up on incorrect days when I input them. The user interface is not super straightforward. I wish I’d researched other apps more before paying for this one. ### 2/5 — If bugs fixed, a good app *2020-11-08, version 3.7* 1. Sunday, Nov. 1 is followed by Monday, Nov. 1. All future dates are incorrect. 2. The stars disappear and shift after leaving the previous week screen. Eg. Saturday stars seemed to move to Friday. Clicking on stars again would add stars to invisible stars, so trying to make the days look correct are just adding extra stars to the weeks count... then will just move or disappear anyway. deleting to zero would not correct it permanently. Devs, good luck, it seems like a nice app otherwise. ### 2/5 — Unselect rewards is impossible *2019-11-14, version 3.7* So when I selected a reward for previous day such as Wednesday, the app then switch the reward to Tuesday. I tried to in select but the reward key coming back. I messed with the app for about 20 minutes until I just got tired and gave up. I tried contacting developer, which was a week ago and still have not heard back. You should be able to elect and unselect rewards as you choose. This makes me regret paying for the app. ### 2/5 — Stopped working *2019-10-06, version 3.7* This app worked great at first, but wouldn’t sync from another device. I logged out so I could log back in and verify my account info, but now the app freezes every time I try to log in or recover my account. I lost all the data I had and need to start over so I will be trying a different app this time. I tried many other apps like this and to be honest I love this app better than the others ### 5/5 — Just what I need *2020-07-08, version 3.7* This app is great. I can add as many children as I need. I can choose whatever skills I am working on-some are already in a list but you can add your own, like saying “Yes Ma’am” if that’s what you need. You can do the same with rewards and set an amount like 10 stars gets you a new toy or whatever. Then you can pay it out when you want and it takes away that amount of stars from the savings.
