I really like my iRig2. ### 2/5 — Absolute disaster *2021-12-04, version 3.0.3* What do you expect when you buy two channel sound card for iOS? I expect that the software which devices come with will have a way to record a video where I can edit channel separately, I can do panning between channels, use layers of effect and etc. basically garage band with video recording capability. I haven’t found how to edit channels separately for stereo audio. And the whole 190€ device with 20€ app and 5-10€ for each plugin it in it basically useless if there’s no way to mix channels for my video. Also their reverb effect even in 1% output produces such amount of reverb that it spoils the whole vocal track, it’s just a large hall reverb preset which is absolutely useless for anything. I’m highly disappointed, All I’ve wanted it to record my guitar with vocals and post it straight to YouTube or TikTok.. try to mix two channels with direct monitoring.. and then you only allowed to add effects on both channels, what a foolish thing is that? It’s useless for this task. Just make a basic daw with a video recording, that’s all we need ### 3/5 — App Crashes when processing edits *2020-09-15, version 3.0.3* I have an iPhone X with the latest version. I find when using Cut or Crop the app crashes. When I use effects the app crashes and I loose the recording. When I open the app again the file is there but there is no audio at all in the file anymore. Anyone else have this issue? ### 4/5 — Works well with the IRig Pro Duo. *2020-08-08, version 3.0.3* The volume works well with the hardware. Two improvements would be a pan setting for stereo two mic recordings and somehow get it to work in the background so it could be used with Facebook Live. The work around for FB Live is to not use this app and use the camera in the phone with the IRig but it comes out hard panned stereo like a psychedelic sixties record. If the app or the iRig could add panning I’d give it 5 stars. ### 3/5 — Paid twice! *2020-05-12, version 3.0.2* The app and iRig Pro are great and been getting some good results. The old problem was when I uninstalled the app a re downloaded and was charged again. It appears to be missing the flag to know I’d already purchased it previously. The recorder only works for a few seconds They stops recording. I’ve had this recording app for years, bought all the filter and sound mods to the app, and used it very successfully with my iPhone 4s and my wife’s 5s, and recently with my 6plus s. I even bought and used the iRig microphone all worked seamlessly until now. Problems include but are not limited to Stops recording when I cover the screen - or put most of my phone in a pocket with microphone still exposed. I’ve not used it a lot . Anyway today Christmas Eve I decided to record and problems hit . It’s all on the audio capture or how ever you want to say it . Audio wave looks good , vid play back is good but audio sucks . Extremely low play back and clipping abound . I’m using the IRig pro dual with mics settings at 6 . No clipping indicated. So I did a sample based of the iPhone built in mics and it’s the same result . First running iOS 18.6.2 and now iOS 26 or whatever it’s called . IRig app hasn’t been updated in 3 yrs . It really sucks as having a small stand alone daw that video records is a God send only other one out there is Audiogo and you have to use their small Mics . IRig please fix the app or better yet make a new that can utilize other interfaces . It would sell if fairly priced ! As it stands IRig is dead in the water at least on my end . ### 1/5 — Outdated *2024-01-21, version 3.0.4* Their hardware is great but this app really needs an update. It doesn’t allow you to select which back camera you’re using when recording. This app does NOT work with amplitube. You cannot use it with an irig interface and record processed amplitube sound to irig recorder. Te work around is to use GarageBand as the inter app router. This is quite a hassle. Irig recorder works with GarageBand and amplitube works with GarageBand. Irig recorder does not work with amplitube. This has been frustrating enough to make me fully regret the app purchase and now I regret buying the irig hd x interface. The hd 2 I already had does all the basic stuff. IK should make their software work together or at least not be dishonest and claim that it does. ### 1/5 — Keine Stereo Aufnahme trotz Vollversion *2023-02-27* Um in Stereoqualität aufnehmen zu können, habe ich mir für 17,00 € die volle Version gekauft. Trotz Neuinstallation und IPad Neustart bleib die Software auf Mono stehen und lässt sich auch nicht ändern. Ich hoffe das der Support etwas ändert. ### 1/5 — Seit iOS 16 Störungen bei Aufnahme *2022-11-13* Ich verwende iRig Recorder seit Jahren zum Aufnehmen von Bandproben. Bisher hat das auch immer gut geklappt, aber seit iOS 16 gibt es Störungen auf den Aufnahmen, evtl. Buffer Underruns. Ich verwende ein iPhone 12 Pro. Das Startfenster nervt auch. Leider habe ich auch noch keinen Weg gefunden, Aufnehmen auf dem Lautsprecher abzuspielen, der Ton wird nur auf dem Kopfhörer wieder gegeben, bzw. ich muss das Telefon ans Ohr halten. Ansonsten hat die App bis iOS 15 gemacht, was sie soll: Aufnehmen und Export als WAV. Особенно полезно для вокалистов, музыкантов. За два дня испробовал более 30 подобных приложений платных и бесплатных. Это лучшее! Single application in which you can apply sound effects directly in iPhone (for example reverb) on your video without editing it with computer or sending incoming sound via external mixer and with it allowing you to save audio or video in gallery or upload video to YouTube but not video with knobs as VoiceJamStudio does. Especially useful for vocalists, musicians. For two days tried over 30 applications free or paid. Bin nach ausgiebigen Tests mit der Rauschunterdrückung sehr zufrieden. Die App ist aufgeräumter als GarageBand und umfangreicher als die Sprachnotizen App von Apple. Wer dabei noch auf Real Time Monitoring nicht verzichten möchte ist mit der App gut bedient... 7,99 Euro ist die App wert... La possibilité d'édition permet d'obtenir le son voulu, néanmoins: MISE A JOUR : Sur appareil de type iPhone et iPod, la possibilité d'"Optimize Volume" existe, mais pas sur iPad: Ce serez sympathique de l'ajouter sur iPad ! ### 5/5 — Can't believe how well it works. *2014-06-15, version 1.5.3* I bought the iRig Cast mic to use on my iPhone for portability over quality and I was really surprised when the audio tracks recorded with this app were as good and sometimes better than the audio that I recorded using my Tascam handheld unit.
