## What is Iris?

Ask questions, plan your day, or get AI working on your computer, all by talking to your watch. Spend less time looking at a screen and more time doing what matters.

• Get answers. Make things happen.
Iris brings the power of ChatGPT to your Apple Watch. Ask questions, make plans, or let AI agents take things off your plate, from everyday to-dos to work projects. Get things done quickly and easily, just by speaking.

• Less screen time. More real life.
Whether you're cooking dinner, out for a walk, or in the middle of a busy day, Iris lets you get the help you need without reaching for your phone. Find a recipe, capture an idea, or get a quick answer without interrupting what you're doing or getting pulled into distractions on your screen.

• Your ChatGPT, wherever you go.
Iris connects to your existing ChatGPT account, bringing your information and work with you. Pick up where you left off, access what matters, and keep everything connected across your Watch, phone, and computer. No separate account or paid subscription is required.

• Keep things moving, wherever you are.
With Codex Remote Control, start or guide work on your computer even when you're away from your desk. Your dot (supported accounts only) is always within reach, too. Share an idea, check on progress, or give feedback while it continues working on your behalf, all from your Apple Watch.

• Just your watch. No phone required.
Iris works directly on your Apple Watch with Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity, so you can leave your phone behind and still have powerful AI at your fingertips. Wherever your day takes you, help is just a conversation away.

Great app! Works flawlessly with my chatgpt account and my Dot. The syncing is fast as works even when the watch is not connected directly to the WiFi.

Keep up the great work!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-10-19*

This app has truly changed my relationship with AI tools. It works perfectly, and with it, I have access to my chatGPT agent and can work from anywhere without having to use my computer or phone. It's excellent for working in the gym, give it a try, this app is amazing

### 5/5 — Best app!

*2026-10-19*

The best app as an addition for AI geeks! Allows you to get a response from the neural network 24/7 or continue working.

### 5/5 — Insanely useful!

*2026-10-15*

From chatting with your Dot, to sending off cloud project tasks, to controlling your Mac remotely, this app is actually insane. And having it all right on your wrist. 🔥

### 5/5 — The only one you need

*2026-10-15*

If you have an Apple Watch with SIM and AirPods this app is all you need to take your codex workflow on the go. With the latest dots support I never take my phone out to check on my tasks. The developer is extremely humble and open to feedback. I highly highly recommend this app!

### 5/5 — My preferred way to talk to Codex

*2026-10-12*

This is genuinely so much more intuitive and quick than anything OpenAI has put out in regards to features like this.

### 5/5 — Works Brilliantly!

*2026-10-12*

App works a treat, sign-in is quick and easy with your existing ChatGPT account/subscription.

10/10 would recommend to anyone that wants access to their Dot on their wrist!

I tend to use mine whilst in the car as getting a Dot call going in a Tesla involves unlocking the phone, opening the app, clicking the little Dot icon and then calling it, which is a pain whilst driving! Now I just click the Action button on my watch and we’re on a call.

The dev is extremely responsive and quick to help if you need it!

### 5/5 — A Remarkable AI Companion for Apple Watch

*2026-10-12*

I’m thoroughly enjoying Iris on my Apple Watch. It gives me convenient voice access to both ChatGPT and Codex, including my custom connectors for personal health, fitness tracking, and Home Assistant smart home management.

Being able to interact with these powerful AI tools directly from my wrist is incredibly useful and offers a glimpse of where personal AI assistants are heading.

An impressive app with enormous potential. I’m looking forward to seeing how it continues to evolve and improve. Congratulations to the developer!

### 4/5 — Easy delegation from my wrist

*2026-10-12*

Iris makes it incredibly easy to delegate tasks and stay productive on the go. Having it right on my Apple Watch means I can quickly talk through what I need, hand off work, and keep moving without pulling out my phone. It fits naturally into a busy day and helps me get more done in those moments between everything else. A really useful app for anyone who wants to turn a quick conversation into productive work.
