## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No Irish pronunciation!

*2018-07-08, version 5.0.0*

Claims Irish pronunciation - gives only English - useless

### 1/5 — Very Poor Quality

*2016-01-07*

Missing many of the Irish translations for the most basic and common of English words. Deleted it in minutes.

### 1/5 — Worthless and confusing

*2015-12-22*

Nothing is displayed aside from an advert for Google chrome. Immediately deleted this app

### 1/5 — Poor

*2015-09-05, version 1.2.0*

I thought this was poor. Irish is a language where one word is the equivalent of two. Eg to you = duit or duibh neither of which is included in this dictionary!

### 1/5 — Deleted

*2015-02-20*

Downloaded the app to help me learn Irish-Celtic and other forms of that are incorporated in the Irish language. However, while enter words/phrases to be translated either to the Irish language or to the English language, the app would do nothing except place ads. Not impressed!

### 1/5 — In short worthless....

*2014-10-18*

....unless you are a native Irish speaker wishing to learn English.

The audio clip pronunciation is of the English word only. Additionally the App is pocked with irritating adverts. Don't waste your time downloading this App.

### 1/5 — Broken no support

*2014-05-09*

The feedback and support tab does nothing and on top of that the play the Irish sound doesn't work. So it's worthless.

### 2/5 — Irish pronunciation

*2018-06-25, version 5.0.0*

Downloaded this for Irish pronunciation only to find that the only pronunciation is of English, which is unhelpful and a waste of time. An English-Irish dictionary doesn’t need English pronunciation, it needs Irish!

### 2/5 — Need Irish pronunciation

*2018-01-22*

The audio Irish pronunciation is an absolute must. I hope this is fixed in an upgrade.

### 2/5 — No Irish pronunciation

*2017-06-26, version 4.0.0*

It only has pronunciation for English words.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Irish App

*2022-11-05, version 5.0.0*

Really good for for brushing up on my Irish and free to use

### 5/5 — nice dict

*2014-11-03*

nice

### 5/5 — Really useful

*2014-08-05*

fast and clear explanation

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2014-07-13*

I think this is perfect for learning Irish again

### 3/5 — Ok free app

*2017-02-12, version 4.0.0*

It works ok, it will translate English into Irish but not Irish into English (unlike it claimed) good free app.

### 2/5 — No Irish pronunciations

*2017-05-18*

It advertises that you can click to hear the words pronounced in English or Irish, but actually you can only hear them in English. Since English is my first language and I'm trying to learn Irish, that's not very useful to me.
