Would be interesting to see their statistics on how many booking % they get through their app; shocking in 2024. This so called app beggars belief. It simply DOES NOT WORK!!!! Using my iPhone (and yes allegedly it's supposed to by iphone compatible!), the app, downloaded from the app store today (2/1/24) is clearly NOT compatible with an iphone!!! It takes an age to load, the screen has a 'toolbar of sorts' across the top which obscures basic but essential functions, including the login button, but since this is only visible by dragging the page down, it is IMPOSSIBLE to select login as it bounces back to the top the instant you release and it then disappears behind the 'toolbar' again. There is clearly information extending beyond the edge of an iphone screen which is not viewable. Now I have a lot of time for Irish Ferries as a company, they provide a great service at great prices in my experience, but if your experience was based soley on this app they would never get any business. What makes me mad is that virtually all reviews say the same thing, there are over 110 reviews and this current version has been released for 2 years so clearly someone at Irish Ferries is not looking at the app or it's reviews. Shame on you Irish Ferries. When trying to ‘manage my booking’ tab I just get a spinning wheel, which spins for ever. Judging by the comments, it’s been poor for over a year. This is a terrible app which is a crying shame from a company that actually provides a really good service. The fact that it hasn’t been updated tells you everything. It is almost impossible to log in (although there is a workaround in these comments by going through the FAQ’s). When you finally get on you can’t then do anything useful. Looking at the reviews - up to 11 YEARS ago - Irish ferries haven’t bothered to update it since then. Can’t add to apple wallet, can’t login because the login button is hidden behind a bar, can’t get a QR code for a booking already made. Don’t waste your time. DFDS app is very far from perfect but it works, I use it all the time, I decide to try Irish and am faced with this, it really does not encourage me to do business, sorry. A side-scrolling window overlays the booking window with photos, prices & number available for the cabins, which is an easier way to book cabins than the website. Very glad I downloaded this app and will actually go to my iPad to book rather than their website on the desktop. Bravo! ### 3/5 — Managed to find a way to log in *2021-09-24* Struggled to login as login link is hidden under the top bar of the browser and impossible to click though. I went in by following the FAQ link scrolling down to the bottom and there was a link saying manage bookings - I was then able to login that way.
