## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor user interface

*2021-03-21*

I find the UI and search tools poor.

### 1/5 — Property section.

*2020-08-20*

There’s no more property section , which was what I looked forward to every week.abdklpropertyok

### 1/5 — App

*2020-03-06*

New app is terrible

### 2/5 — App stopped storing login

*2020-08-03*

The app is requiring login and password every time since update.

### 3/5 — Brendan O’Connor bias

*2026-04-19*

O’Connor claims that the Iranian regime is guilty of greater savagery than the U.S. and by implication Israel. He needs to be reminded that the U.S./Israeli alliance target children’s schools, restrict aid to ensure starvation, killed 21,500 Palestinian children of Gaza and 53,000+ of their parents and relatives and all hospitals, target and kill over 100 Red Cross Field workers and infrastructure while still we hear condemnation of resistance to such savagery. His article today is a disgraceful attempt to make Trump look good.

### 3/5 — E paper

*2025-03-21*

Nice to read in its broadsheet format! However the new daily news or additional articles and content experience is not great compared to the independent app. It might be a financial thing but I switch to rte.ie rather quickly.

### 3/5 — Good app but needs dark mode

*2023-08-06*

Good g

### 3/5 — App not working with iOS 9 since Friday

*2020-07-20*

Pls can you tell me why the app is not now working with iOS 9?

Thank you

### 5/5 — Saving features missing

*2024-02-17*

I would like to see better options for saving an article for later reading. This includes improved sharing of an article. Also, whole pages cannot be saved for easy reading at a later time.

Content-wise I am a big fan of the paper.

### 5/5 — News of the future is here

*2023-11-10*

I mostly read the Belfast Telegraph and Irish Independent.
The functionality of using and reading the papers are first class. Before I got the app I was reading less and less from newspapers, but now I read at least 2 full papers a day.
Easy to flick through, easy to expand the text, if like me your eyesight is not perfect. Sports coverage is brilliant , and I can hold my own now with my friends with my new found knowledge.
Also you have access to a wealth of previous issues which can be very interesting.
I was a bit sceptical about paying for news on an app, but in a world where we expect it to be free, this is a sound investment in quality news and I will definitely be renewing my subscription.
Give it a go, you will not be disappointed.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Irish news straight to the U.K.

*2023-09-19*

The price of the ePapers is so reasonable. It allows us in the U.K. to keep up with the news in Ireland.

### 5/5 — Irish Independent Review

*2022-07-05*

I love the paper but I also love the support for us E-Paper people. They’re very responsive.
PS
They’ve got great columnists and great sports and great business…..love it

### 5/5 — Avis

*2020-06-08*

I live in France...Nothing can replace going to the Newsagent’s to buy the paper or magazine...but when you don’t have the choice, you don’t turn up your nose to get a foreign paper on line. I appreciate being able to modify print size and filing facilities.
