Now this camera will not connect, tried Re-installing Re-connecting it all fails, and yes I had another car park hit and run and can't access the recording - piece of four letters starting with S ending in T. ### 1/5 — Most Useless app on App Store *2023-12-28* If I had a choose I go get a refund for my X10 Dash Cam if I had known how absolutely poor quality, the app is at software software, never connects the app on the Mac crashes all the time you can never get the video off. It’s just the biggest piece of garbage app on the App Store charge $.99 or a dollar or something forward so you can actually do some work on it I’d be happy to pay if it actually worked, either that or get new developers. I love the “event” sorting function... so much easier to find the event in after! ### 4/5 — Brilliant, but… *2023-04-09, version 2.2.6* …. When it has contention with another WiFi from my iPhone, it repeatedly goes slow, and Disconnect. HOWEVER!!!…. Once it connects, and it actually does too, it’s more than the average application for an average DVR. Most Drive Recorders are take the chip out, or squint at the 1.5” screen variety, this gives one full iPhone screen vista. I love it. Add to the ADAS of the system(X5 in my cases), it becomes a very comforting product. My advice is to keep an eye on the mobiles WiFi connection, it releases it without question, which is the trade-off. If it doesn’t do the above, it’ll run you up a data bill, and later your bank will advise you! Of course, one could simply remove the memory chip, and play it in a suitable PC, like most of the others. My complaint is the time it takes from touching the ‘button’, to actual screen updates. There’s no feed-back, so, like most, one continues to prod the screen, thinking I hadn’t, but, when you do, the ‘Disconnect’ is directly under the connect button. My thoughts are to position the disconnect in a different area of the screen, eliminating the ‘Double-Touch’ syndrome. It’ll certainly solve my only issue… once I’ve worked out that it doesn’t like sharing data across another connection in the back-ground! I can see why many people are complaining about connection issues. You need to tell your mobile to connect to the units wifi network before you open the app. When the unit reboots after you have saved changes to settings, your mobile will lose connection to the wifi and will most likely immediately reconnect you to your normal home wifi network… so you need to go into your mobile wifi settings again and reconnect to the IROAD wifi before continuing with activities within the app. This will confuse/frustrate many users, unless you understand what is going on! Would be nice if IROAD can update their product to join your own home wifi network, and remove the need for the app to only work when connected to its own network. ### 3/5 — V9 *2016-08-26* Not bad.
