If you are patient you can play fairly inexpensively. But the game is designed to wipe you out once you reach a certain point. So once your immunity fades, you only have so much time to play before another player wipes you out. If you are online or off, you will get wiped out. The constant grind of pop ups while you are trying to play , wasting what little time you have. I'd rather spend my money on a good X Box or Playstation game for our tour bus than waste it on this money pit. NO ONE should be able to just rocket your base and take your money. I absolutely loved it for its mechanics, especially in terms of clans and battles. I got back on it a few weeks back, and enjoy it immensely despite the obvious decline in the player base. I wish more people played this game; it’s such an amazing rendition of clash of clans/boom beach hybrid that deserves more recognition.
