## What is IronMate AI?

IronMate is the training partner that learns who you are and keeps you showing up.

Most apps track. IronMate remembers. It knows the lift you couldn't beat last week, the shoulder that was acting up, the sessions you actually showed up for. So the next time you train, it picks up right where you left off.

It talks you through the work in your ear while your music keeps playing. Set targets, rest timing, the next move, a push when you've got more in the tank. No taps, no staring at your phone between sets.

Pick the partner you want in your corner:
- Best Mate, warm and in it with you
- Drill Sergeant, names every gap
- Straight Shooter, direct and plain
- Competitive Rival, beat yesterday

And it does the part most apps skip: it notices when you disappear. This is usually where you disappear, and IronMate is the voice that pulls you back before one missed session becomes a missed month.

Built for people who already know how to train but struggle to stay consistent. Tell it your goal, your gear, and your week, and it builds your plan. Swap any exercise, change your days, mention an injury, and it adapts.

Never Lift Alone Again.

One workout at a time.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-22

Say your numbers and IronMate logs them. After a set, "8 at 160" now counts with or without saying done. If the numbers look off for the exercise, IronMate reads them back before it logs anything.

Every question IronMate asks now takes "not yet" or "still resting" for an answer, and it no longer checks in about a set you already logged.

The lock screen keeps up with you, including the move into a timed exercise like a treadmill walk, and it clears itself when a workout is left behind.

Leave a timed exercise to ask the coach something and come back: the clock carries on and IronMate tells you how long is left instead of starting over.

Stretches and mobility work added to a day now rest 30 seconds instead of inheriting the rest of the heavy lift next to them.

The warm-up offer waits for an answer. Say ready when you want to start, or skip it if you are already warm.

Set recaps are only ever spoken in IronMate's own voice.

### 1.4.9 — 2026-08-19

Your warm-up now has room to happen. IronMate suggests one, then waits: say ready when you want to start, or skip it if you are already warm.

Skipped an exercise because the machine was taken? It now comes back right after the next one instead of waiting until the end of the workout, and it backs off politely if the machine is still busy.

A timed exercise no longer starts its clock on its own. The timer waits for you to say go.

When IronMate hears you, the bar at the bottom says so straight away, so you are never left wondering whether to repeat yourself. Answering a question with just the numbers works more reliably too.

If voice drops out, the reconnect bar now tells you it can be tapped, and says which bar it means.

Voice and persona changes made in Settings now take effect in your very next workout.

In chat, the coach no longer says a plan change is saved or pending when it is not, and it will not offer to remove an exercise that is not in your plan.

### 1.4.8 — 2026-08-18

Every exercise now comes with a looping demo. Tap the info button on any exercise to see the movement, the target muscles, and one form cue, or browse the full library in Settings. Voice coaching got sharper: cleaner set logging, better answers mid-workout, and rest lengths called out. Plus fixes throughout.

### 1.4.7 — 2026-08-10

The coach can no longer go quiet on you, and it always edits the right set.
- Fixing a set by voice now always lands on the set you mean. If it lives on another exercise, the coach names it and asks first.
- "Log it anyway" now actually logs the set, every time.
- Your workout clock is on screen, and your recap shows total time.
- Changing rest time mid workout now applies to the workout you are in.
- The mic in chat waits for you to finish your sentence instead of cutting in.
- Finished a workout? The coach names your next session in plan order, not a weekday you never picked.
- Go suspiciously light and your coach will notice. Right on target is earned now.
- Tell IronMate about your setup, like one cable pulley only, and your plan and swaps respect it.
- Weak gym wifi? Every line still plays: openings, next set calls, and the wrap up.
- Repeat sets log by voice again, like 245 after 245.
- Session one opens with a proper introduction in the founder's own words.

### 1.4.6 — 2026-07-31

IronMate now finishes every turn it starts.
- It waits after asking for your reps or weight, and keeps every number you give it.
- Say log it and it saves the number it just confirmed.
- Voice corrections like "IronMate, change that last set" now work, and recognition knows your exercise names.
- Zero weight always logs. A zero that contradicts your earlier sets gets one quick check first.
- The coach finishes its sentence before the screen moves on.
- Honest reconnects: a paused voice shows VOICE PAUSED and tapping really retries.
- First workout? The coach now introduces itself properly instead of pretending it knows you.
- Calmer screen while you edit a set, plus clearer onboarding.
