### 2/5 — Not accurate

*2025-09-26, version 12.002*

Been using this app for years and the accuracy is getting worse…about 2 tenths per mile …I only use it as a timer for my workouts

### 4/5 — Landscape:(

*2025-01-08, version 11.044*

Why does it always go to landscape mode? Can that be changed? I love iRunner, I just updated, and I got the new icon oh my gosh, my little dude is gone, it’s now a shoe, PLEASE PLEASE BRING HIM BACK😀

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2022-05-12, version 10.096*

I’ve use this app for years! Love it!

### 5/5 — Best Running app out there

*2022-04-23, version 10.095*

Never fails for GPS, data is very accurate

### 2/5 — Had to pay extra for features I paid/had.

*2022-02-19, version 10.085*

5 star rating when I purchased upgrades previously. Now, they have eliminated the photo feature from my previous upgrade & I have to pay “again” if I want it. A bit misleading I say.

### 5/5 — Love the Time Keeping

*2022-02-12, version 10.084*

I play this app in tandem with my music on shuffle and I love the way I am told when I hit a mile and the time it took . It encourages me to make the next Mike a little quicker. My little friend in my ear x

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2022-01-30*

I love this to track my walking & now my bike. We recently got new e bikes that also track our miles & time but I still like iRunner to track my calories & also compare accuracy!

### 5/5 — Live using while walk/run

*2022-01-15, version 10.083*

Helps to keep track of my routing excercise

### 4/5 — It does what I want it to

*2021-08-02*

I have been using iRunner for several years. I like it more than several others that I have tried, although all have their strong and weak points. I’m a 64 year old with hypertension, and my goal is just to slow the aging process. (I’m not expecting a call from the USOC). I particularly like the feature that tells me how much my heart rate has decreased at 1 and 2 minutes after a workout. The screens are very customizable. My only complaint is that sometimes the customizations don’t seem to appear where I expect them to, but I probably just need to re-read the instructions.

### 5/5 — Love iRunner

*2021-07-25*

I love this app because not only does it offer a spectrum of exercises to choose from but you can also document and record your performance duration. Maybe it’s just me but it actually beckons me. I have my timer set to remind me it’s time to exercise and when I want to ignore it, it’s as if the app speaks directing me ‘if not now, later.’ So I will either get on with my exercise or I set it for later time.
Looking at my recorded performance is an awesome feeling. I can see what I’ve done and remind myself, “this is what it takes to stay healthy and keep the unwanted weight off! I love iRunner!

### 5/5 — Walking/jogging

*2021-06-08, version 10.058*

Best app ever for walking, jogging, and running. Have been using it for several years.

### 4/5 — Bogue

*2021-06-07*

Très bonne appli que je n’utilise plus car le déverrouillage de la carte dans « résultat » ne fonctionne plus. Impossible de zoomer pour voir le détail du parcours effectué. Dommage !

### 5/5 — Great Fitness Tracker

*2021-05-07*

Easy to use, ideal for all levels if fitness. I have several friends who use it. It was recommended by one of my friends.

### 5/5 — Cette app m'accompagne depuis 10ns, à fait 2 marathon et qq semis

*2021-04-20*

Et elle est très bien

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I GOT TRICKED!

*2026-02-26*

They took back for for what I paid for. The first time I purchased it, it had the capability of using photos on runs and then they made it where I had to upgrade if I wanted that service AFTER I my paid version had it. Now, the graphs won’t display correctly and it prompts me to upgrade if I want the advanced graphs that look like the original ones. Imagine if you bought a car and they randomly took took your original wheels off and face you smaller ones and asked you to pay for what you originally had. Nice app but the “fine” print is very concerning.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect

*2026-02-04*

This app has it’s ups and downs. I paid for it and it worked for while. Recently, the app is give me half the calories that I use to burn. For example my 2 miles walks would give about 400 calories, now for the same walk it only says I burned 200 calories. Is there change in app why this is doing it?

### 1/5 — Now useless

*2024-10-21*

I have used this app and it’s sister app iWalker to track my hiking stats including distance, CPM, STM, pace, elevation and route map. I could then share those stats by emailing them to myself (including charts and map) so I could upload them to my hiking clubs meetup site. All free. Fitdigits has eliminated everything and disabled its iWalker app entirely. Now you must pay an exhorbitant $9.95 a month membership fee for any useable data. This app is now useless and the membership fee a ripoff.

### 1/5 — Bad deal with great app.

*2023-03-01*

I purchased this app several years ago for like $12 or $14 and loved everything about it. Several years later the app took away features that I had in my first purchase like taking pictures & saving them. The app said that I needed to upgrade to a new version and pay to get the feature. It seems like I paid for the creators to see what features were used most and then charge me again on an upgrade. Great deal for the app producers but shady deal when that was not expressed openly.

### 1/5 — Will Not Open

*2020-07-27, version 10.028*

After the latest update, the app will not open. I use it daily and have for an extended time, now I’ve lost continuity.

### 1/5 — Crashing

*2020-07-23, version 10.026*

Keeps crashing, restarted phone, didn’t help, tried to log in but kept kicking me out.

### 1/5 — Getting glitchy

*2020-05-14*

I’ve used iRunner for years. Matter of fact, it’s the only app I’ve highly recommended to my walk/run friends. However, lately I’ve been walking with a friend who’s using the app per my recommendation. We walk the same distance and my pace is typically faster than hers on the pavement. Yet, our pace and distance trackings vary by as much as a half a minute and a tenth of a mile. The problem is that her pace is reading faster and her mileage is reading longer than mine although she’s slower, and we’re walking the same distance. This is problematic. I want EVERY BIT OF CREDIT I deserve for the work I put in. Please fix this. (Important note: I use my Apple Watch. She doesn’t have one.)

### 1/5 — No Good

*2020-03-08, version 10.008*

2-3 years ago I was raving about this app and recommended it to everyone I knew...I’m not sure what has changed but the heart rate monitor does not pair which throws everything off...all the good reviews I see are from years ago when the app actually worked

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect

*2019-10-23, version 8.214*

This app has it’s ups and downs. I paid for it and it worked for while. Currently, there is no connection between my iphone Xs Max and my Apple Watch. Hope there is upgrade to fix the connection.

### 1/5 — Issue with accurate Data

*2019-03-04, version 8.150*

The speed issue seems to continue. I walked my dogs today and it said I was averaging 9mph to 18mph. And no way in hell can I walk that fast with dogs constantly stoping to sniff everything. It worked well before the past 6 updates but does not want to record accurate data

### 5/5 — Alchemists at Best!

*2025-11-25, version 12.006*

The skillful computer alchemists at FitDigits always keep the main ingredient a secret... I can only imagine that legendary recipe that is full of Magical Symbols, the complex drawings, the names of the rarest herbs..

Most definitely, they added huge amounts of mixing time into the virtual bowl , and a pinch of Purest Passion, lots of Distilled Honesty, and the Brightest Sparks of Imagination!

That , my friends, was exactly how they had created the IRunner!

The credibility of the one-star reviews is highly questionable, and I look at them with a lot of skepticism!

After 5 years of almost daily use, the app has not crashed a single time, has not drained the battery, and consistently maintained the “law and order” within itself!

The most important point for the perspective users to consider :

THE APP SUPPORT COMMUNICATES EXCEPTIONALLY WELL!! They will always respond to the inquiry! Perhaps, not within the next minute, but quickly enough to put your mind at ease!

So, go and check it out! It’s FREE to use for the basic needs.
Then, paying a little gets you the shiniest bells and whistles: the Heart ❤️ Rate Training, the Weather Support, etc.

To the Developers:

Extremely well done! Bravo!!

Urgent Update: October 2020

The Confession.

The COVID , the self- isolation, and the layoff have delivered an enormous amount of time!
I decided to set aside my "positivity bias" towards the iRunner app , and give the negative reviewers the benefit of a doubt. What if they were right? What if the app is not good at all? What if I just got lucky????

I made a pledge: 31 day of training. Twice a day , strength and cardio. IRinner on. If it fails just once, if it allows just a "wink of a problem", just a tiny "hiccup"- I will remove a star. Or, two stars??

The month went by so quickly...

I have a confession to make....
I must apologize to the developers first: you are not alchemists... Those people use the earthly ingredients....

You are the ALIENS!!! You have secretly brought the Super Technology from out of this galaxy... You molded it into the IRunner ... And now, this "beast" just pathologically refuses to fail!!!

Scrupulously methodical heart rate monitoring, precision "training zones" change announcements, exclusive informative graphics, and so much more...

I have no words of comfort for the ones who have failed to enjoy 😊 this application. Perhaps, one day you will give it another chance???

To the Developers: I confirm: You are the GREATEST!!!

11/25/2025
FINAL VERDICT!!

IF YOU COULD ONLY BELIEVE…

I know: this review has turned into a multi chapter saga! I apologize for that!

But today marks my 5-year anniversary with the IRunner app, which developers had simply turned into the part of my immediate family!
Why did that happened!??

It started when the COVID incarcerated everyone.
Laid off and hopeless, I decided to finally get in shape, dump the fat , and got the IRunner …
It started to work so well… Until… The COVID hospital “vacation” happened… All inclusive, free breathing machines to “workout”… When I , a barely moving skeleton had finally crawled out of there, I thought it was closer to the end, than the new beginning…

The crew at the IRunner has communicated diligently and extensively, navigating my toughest road back to my normal self. It worked! For the next few months… Until…

The good doctors found a tumor! Not a big deal, didn’t bother anyone! Nevertheless, they said it had got to go.
Same song back on. The surgery, “all-inclusive” stay, and …

I thought, the IRunner guys will dump me. Nope! Not even close!
The priceless suggestions, the heart rate training to recover faster, and the smart ways of moving between the workouts!

I am still perplexed 🤔 when I see the reviews reporting of the inconsistencies associated with the app.
As much as you can believe it- that has never happened to me.
Update the devices, restart frequently, and COMMUNICATE WITH THE APP SUPPORT!

Whatever stage in life you are at, the IRunner is a fully “tricked out” source of inspiration, optimal training, and monitoring of the most precious asset of your life- YOUR HEALTH!

P.S. They are alchemists after all.
Forget about the “lead into gold” fairy tales! The developers have distilled the Eternal Life Elixir , and called it the IRunner! Get it! Consume responsibly!😂

To the Developers:
Love you Forever! Thanks for EVERYTHING!❤️
