You can jump on the trains and view the layouts going by from different places on the train. You can stand anywhere on the layout to observe trains passing. You control the speed of individual trains to avoid collisions and set switches to change tracks. I do not see a way to leave cars on sidings but even that may be possible. Has a bit of a learning curve to understand controls which are smooth but sluggish. Icons are a bit cryptic . “Lite” version is free and I couldn’t find a better value even with its limitations. Unfortunately, like real model layouts, this gets boring with time. Nothing to do but roll down the track and avoid collisions. Would be better with some “objectives”. That being said, it’s still a very fun app and a good way to spend time without enduring stress of smashing, shooting, destroying and otherwise being killed. ### 5/5 — Awesome! Otherwise, I think this game is awesome! ### 5/5 — Good for main lines, wish it had yard spotting *2017-08-19, version 4.0.2* This is a fun app to run trains, learn about switch control, etc. I see each update adds more, much of what the users are asking for. There are two app features I would be willing to pay for: 1) Lay your own track, or import a track into the app' and 2) ability to drop off and pick up rolling stock. I realize there is a max consist size, but it would be nice to be able to drop off the loads at various industries or yards, then pick then up later. ### 3/5 — Looks Cool but navigation around the layout? UGH *2017-02-08, version 4.0.2* I think this game looks cool but the control to move the camera around to view the layout... I couldn't wrap my head around it... Unfortunately .. That's why I'm deleting it.. Hard to try it when just looking where I want is difficult..
