There are different levels of Keto and this app follows the guidelines of strict Keto. Simply scan the bar code of each item and the app will tell you if it’s keto. Yes, it’s that easy. Now your app has access to the largest database of foods. Every product has a bar code on the label – however not every company submits their bar code to the database. Companies change their ingredients all the time but may not update the database for a while. Kindly note the app only works with food products not vitamins, supplements or non-food items. Also big box chains very often do not list their products in the database. If the product does not have a bar code, you can enter the product name and ingredients and the app will tell you if it’s keto. I have checked a lot of ingredients that I buy from Costco and none of them show up on this app. The premise is great but like I said it is not ready for prime time when it does notinclude some of the largest stores in the country ### 1/5 — Have given it some time…still disappointing *2023-05-23* So I have given them time to add more data…still nothing I scan comes up.
