Is It Vegan? tells you whether a product is vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, or gluten-free — in about a second.

Scan a barcode, or point your camera at an ingredient list. You get a clear verdict, plus exactly which ingredients caused it and why.

FREE AND UNLIMITED
Scanning is completely free. No subscription, no scan limits, no account required. Your full scan history is free too. The app is supported by ads, with an optional one-time purchase to remove them.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan a barcode or point your camera at an ingredient list
2. We search multiple food databases to find the product and its full ingredient list
3. Each ingredient is checked against a built-in dictionary of 1,500+ known ingredients for an instant classification
4. Anything we don't recognize is analyzed by on-device or cloud AI for a second opinion
