We live in a very fire prone area but when I set the app to what is supposed to be my local merging you area for fire I get the Police 200 miles away. Some ability to set particular channels would be good. The app is useless if the areas indicted in the index are not the actual areas scanned. ### 1/5 — Unusable. It only does this if you turn your phone off while you are listening to it. No need to buy expensive scanner hardware. *2014-12-17* As a rancher, this app helps me keep up to date on fire conditions in my county. Bean’s Bytes also added the county I needed. I simply emailed them and my county appeared! I was going to buy an expensive $400 radio scanner. This app saved me that cost! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — What a con !! Do not upgrade. *2024-06-02, version 6.2.1* I used this app for a month or so to see how good it was, and I was impressed. I thought I would upgrade so I could store more streams, but as soon as I try to store a fifth stream the app crashes. I have paid £5.99 for an annual subscription however it does nothing more than it did before I paid. I have tried to contact the developer several times and they have not responded. My recommendation is use the free version but DO NOT upgrade, it’s a waste of money. ### 1/5 — Bug / Lifetime Purchase Issue *2023-08-03, version 6.2.1* I have bought a lifetime purchase of the app to be able to add an unlimited number of stations. It doesn’t work and the app seems to be caught in a circular loop, when I try to add further stations. Please can this be fixed, as money has otherwise been taken from me under false pretences.
