Congratulations! ### 5/5 — What doctors need *2020-07-07, version 2.1* I am a surgeon and when I search for breast cancer, it gives out important innovations in high impact journals that surgeons may not become aware of otherwise. For example, I found a great publication in Cancer journal published last month. Surgeons dont use this journal often but glad I found it and these guys designed this app. Kudos..5 stars from me. ### 5/5 — Great functionality *2020-07-07, version 2.1* Great value for price. Searching by importance of study was a much needed innovation. These people hit the nail on the head. The "storage" menu does not work in Dark Mode, please recruit programmers who know to program apps in Dark mode and change this. The app does what it says - studies beuatifully organized by impact factor of the journal. Now, I have all the latest data, literally at my fingertips. Great for research collaboration. The saved files menu does not work well in Dark Mode, this needs to be fixed. This iPad interface needs resuscitation. Come on folks! ### 1/5 — Won’t allow access after I paid. *2020-09-07* I paid for this app and it worked for a while but now it’s claiming to not recognize my email or password and says “user may have been deleted”. Why would they take my money and then delete me? **Developer response:** You are likely entering the wrong email or password. Please send that email to info@bestmededuc.org and we will fix your account. Alternative would be to register a new account with another email. There is also a forgot password feature. Please note, we use your email to store your activity on the app. The subscriptions will go through your Apple ID and these 2 emails can be different. The app will contact Apple to check your payment receipt regardless of your login email. Hope this clarifies. BSE ### 1/5 — Don’t do it! *2020-08-12* Terrible interface; they just want your information. You get one free search then they want you to pay. **Developer response:** We only use your email to store your activity on the app..like your favorites and saved files. We do not give your email to other parties. Of course, you will get emails from BSE regarding improvements and app features, but that is usually less than once a week. Most users welcome that and actually want daily follow-up emails. As for the payment, most subscriptions are free for the first week. You are welcome to cancel risk free after trying multiple searches. You can also claim a refund from Apple quite easily. These situations have never happened. BSE ### 1/5 — Extremely disappointed *2020-07-04* At least so far, plagued by bugs and insufficiently operational. Not worth the time (or the little investment) I can only hope out will be improved soon. No clue why it was released in its current very disappointed condition... **Developer response:** Would not help anyone if you don’t mention what those bugs were. Thanks for the feedback. ### 2/5 — Subscription service *2023-12-17* You have to pay to use this ### 3/5 — Great sort features but it’s not free like PubMed *2023-07-07* So this app is really cool in that it sorts by levels of graded evidence, impact factor, relevance — all of the quality studies. However, the search screen is misleading and a bit of a false advertisement. Under the cloak of searching PubMed (and it appears to actually BE PubMed), you get one search but then must subscribe. $50/per year. So the real value is the sorting features but it also delivers full text when ALREaDY FREE in PubMed Central. ### 5/5 — Great app *2021-10-11* Great app ### 5/5 — Best tool for literature search *2020-07-13, version 2.2* We use Pubmed to write our manucripts and this app has been very useful to help us pull out relevant data.
