### 1/5 — Do Not Use until developer fixes app!

It will brick your dumbbells. Easy to use and set up but after it does the automatic firmware updates it will jam up your dumbbell controller and you have to find and follow online guides to unsync your phone then do a factory reset on the dumbbells; at which point they’ll work fine again just no online connection. 
There are so many posts online about it that I can’t believe they still advertise the “smart” function of the dumbbells and advocate this app.

No voice control but luckily it is easy to change dumbbell weight without app. Not as advertised.

I naively used this app in an attempt to connect my NordicTrack dumbbells to iFit and Alexa. This app forced an update to the dumbbell firmware which rendered it useless. The only way I could get the dumbbells functional again was by doing a full reset.  The dumbbells then worked fine until I used this app to try and connect them up again. Big mistake. I had to once again reset the dumbbells and will use them manually. It’s a big waste considering I bought these for the automation.

It’s been almost a year since this was last updated.  When are you planning on actually fixing this?  I’ve had a replacement base sent from the manufacturer when they couldn’t troubleshoot the problem…. Same issue.  Clearly this app is the problem.

Do not use unless you want to brick your weights.

I had to return my dumbbells because of the buggy firmware update that was forced using this app. 

On the dumbbells the screen freezes/glitches all the the time, the incorrect weights are always selected and you have to unplug and plug just to have some functionality. 

Many reviews on Amazon explain this and there’s even videos demonstrating it.

After connecting in ISelect, the app installed a firmware update.  Now I can’t connect to the dumbbells.  Worse, I can’t change the weight manually either!  

Stay away!

They no longer change weights and freeze. No way to factory reset as far as I can tell, so my brand new weights are currently useless.

I had to restart my phone to get iselect to work. 

Once it was actually working, it applied a firmware update (this could not beskipped!)

Do not use this app. Do not upgrade firmware!!

The app itself is pretty limited, but it allows set up with Alexa and you can set presets for movements. All the content is in the iFIT app. Love how fast the dumbbells are though!
