## What is iShabbat?

iShabbat brings the warmth of Shabbat candle-lighting to your iPhone and iPad — a beautiful, calming way to welcome the Sabbath wherever you are.

Strike the match, light two candles, and watch them glow with a living flame that flickers and leans as you move your device. Then read the blessing, check your candle-lighting time for the week, and fill the room with traditional song.

CANDLE LIGHTING
• Light two Shabbat candles with a realistic match gesture
• A warm, living flame that responds to how you hold your device
• Candles burn down gently over the evening, with smoke as they fade

PRAYERS
• The Shabbat candle blessing in Hebrew, transliteration, and English
• Clean, readable type with right-to-left Hebrew and Dynamic Type support

SHABBAT EDITION — one-time upgrade

• The weekly Torah portion (Parsha) with its verse reference and a short summary

• A dark, candlelit interface that's easy on the eyes

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
iShabbat keeps your data on your device. Your location is used only on your device to calculate candle-lighting times — it is never collected, sent to a server, or shared. No accounts, no tracking, no ads.
