## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.2 — 2026-08-16

Island IQ 2.0.2 — 24H stats that match Fortnite.gg.

Island detail now uses a real last-24-hours lookback. CCU rolls with the last day; unique players and plays use the day that actually covers those 24 hours, so the numbers you see here line up with Fortnite.gg.

Discover and genre browsing stay polished so you can find what’s popping and track the islands you care about.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-08-11

Island IQ 2.0 is here — built around Discover.

Browse Fortnite island genres in one place, jump into live rankings, and see what’s popping right now across the map ecosystem. Save the islands you care about to track performance over time with charts, Compare, and clearer Mine vs Watching.

Welcome to 2.0.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-08-07

**Island IQ 2.0 — Discover-first.** The biggest update yet reimagines Island IQ around discovery and creator intelligence.

**A home built for reading, not decorating** — The app now opens into Discover: pick a genre, and one board card tells you how many players are on it right now and charts its last hour. Below it, the leaderboard is a dense table — rank, island, trend line, Live CCU — the way you'd actually want to read a chart of the top maps.

**The right board first** — Island IQ opens on the board you were last looking at, keeps the genres you browse at the front, and quietly demotes boards that are empty. It only ever loads the one board you're looking at.

**A glance shouldn't cost a tap-through** — Tap any ranked island for a quick preview: its rank, live player count, and a mini CCU chart, right there. Open it for the full picture, or save it — Island IQ asks whether it's **yours** or one you're **watching**.

**Charts first on every island** — Island detail leads with CCU history, then shows exactly where the island ranks across Fortnite's Discover genres and how that rank has moved over the past week, charted with #1 at the top.

**Opens instantly** — Your genres and last board are drawn from an on-device cache before the app touches the network, then names and live player counts fill in a few at a time. Open it a second time and your board is there with no loading at all.

**Fast and gentle on Fortnite's API** — Every request shares one throttle, so Island IQ never floods the API. Boards you've opened repaint instantly and refresh quietly. If the API is busy, you get a quiet line at the top of the screen and keep your cached data instead of an error page.

**Your portfolio, second tab** — Saved Islands is now the second tab: your tracked islands with Mine/Watching filters, streaks, compare, alerts, and widgets — all still here.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-07-24

Clearer widget accents — Accent colors are easier to read on light Home Screen widgets. Violet Pulse and Sunset Orange stay; cyan, neon green, pink, and gold are replaced with deeper Ocean Teal, Deep Emerald, Berry Rose, and Burnished Amber, each with a dedicated light-mode tint.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-07-23

A small polish pass for creators who keep a few islands saved.

• Tag islands as Mine or Other, then filter your list
• See combined Live CCU across your Mine islands on the home screen
• Smoother scrubbing on the 24h CCU chart
• Faster open for the Widgets tab after a cold launch

That’s it — same Island IQ, a bit tidier.
