U have to turn the phone one way to see landscape. Should be able to turn it in the opposite direction to see landscape when u turn the phone the other way. This is substantiated by Google and is not the fault of the the Ismartviewpro app. Any cameras furnished by the supplier that appear to work will hack segments of the video that may show areas for potential break-ins. I was hoping that when I upgraded from an iphone 7 to 11 that it would get better but alas no. So it was used and not disclosed . Yes the camera is a bit slow over WiFi, boo hoo. This is something that can be easily fixed. Online they sell something called a ”Power Line Adapter” (PLC). For those of you that aren’t familiar with what this is, it’s a device that allows you to hardwire ANYTHING to your router, but through your electricity. It’s comes with 2 PLCs. It’s simple, you plug one into the back of the camera, and one into the back of your router, you press the learn in button, and done. Reason I mention this is because it’s sad people seem to destroy an app, before trying things to make it better. WiFi is never going to be the best when it comes to cameras, so this is the best alternative if the camera isn’t right next to your router. ### 5/5 — Internet must be 2G *2020-01-20, version 1.3.34* I use the camera to check in on the dog during the day. Only issue I had was during initial set up. I kept trying to connect using 5G internet unsuccessfully. After reading further into camera I switched WiFi to the 2G and it connected no problem. Haven’t had any issues since. I wish it would alert me when motion was detected but for the price I can’t complain too much. ### 5/5 — Doggo Cam *2019-06-20, version 1.3.32* I’ve had 4 of these cameras since December 2017 and they all work great. My WiFi router crapped out, and setting the cams up on the new router was just as easy as the first time. I did have minor trouble on one camera, but it was operator error. I recommend following the directions carefully each time to reset cams if needed. The app has not given me issues at all either.
