Keeps saying certificate error. ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2023-08-14* Genuinely one of the worst apps connected to a product you could ever imagine. If you log out it will refuse to let you log back in, if you delete the app the same issue will continue. When you are logged in, it doesn't connect half the time. Whenever i've personally ever tried to connect, half the time it says my internet isn't connected when it clearly is. Tried forget password and tried to log in through google. However, everytime i press it “ it says plusreduceAi” wants to sign in. It also says on the app that Im not using the offical login and it may be a unofficial login from a 3rd party. ### 1/5 — What happened with your APP! *2023-09-30* Installed back lighting on my TV back in March and the app was working fine but now can’t login and control the lights 🤬without the app the lights are useless. $120. Down the drain ### 1/5 — I was able to fix the problem of not being able to login *2023-09-21* 1. Download the “Smart Life” app from the App Store. 2. Create an account with the Smart Life app. 3. Click on “add device.” 4. Add the device manually. 5. Select from Electrical 6. Select the lighting category. 7. Then scroll down until you see “screen sync controllers.” 8. Select the “HDMI screen sync controller zigby gateway. 9. Follow the instructions to make the ISNOW device searchable. It’s a series of turning the power switch on and off several times until the LED is flashing yellow slowly. 10. You should then be able to select the found device “3.8 ISNOW Immersion Tv backlight.” Once it connected on WiFi the original ISNOW lighting control app opened and I was able to control the lighting as before. 11. Sometime in the past month they unpaired and the app fails to re-pair and will not allow me to login with server errors. I was really enjoying this product previously but I’m pretty upset right now ### 1/5 — Lights Nice - App Control a Bust *2023-09-03* As others have said, everything worked great on set up. We used it for several months, then about July the phone app stopped working. I have an iPhone. Nothing I have done has helped. Contacting support, I got a message saying the store was unavailable. total rip off if you have to get up to change the lights like the 1960s or something I’m not even sure how to get all the different variations that the app allowed. ### 1/5 — Waste of money! *2023-08-27* They worked ok for a while I tried everything in my power to get the lights synced to the sound but no matter what it never worked so I resorted to just using stagnant colors. Was working then all of a sudden everytime I opened the app it showed I had no devices Available. It has since kicked me out of my account and will not let me log back in saying something like server is invalid. It says some crap about the certificate being invalid and such. I wrote to the developer twice and nothing. This is pretty ridiculous considering the app is the only way to access all the feature modes. Fix the app or refund all the people that purchased the lights. The only notable downside is the app doesn’t always connect ### 2/5 — Can’t log back in *2023-08-24* We installed the backlight for a TV in our vacation home. It worked great, then we left for a month. When we got back the lights were not listed as a device in the app, I had to pair them again. Except the app would quit halfway through the pairing process. I uninstalled the app and installed it again. And now I can’t login. I forgot the password and when I try to recover it I enter my email and absolutely nothing happens. I thought maybe I can just re-register with another email, but I can’t do that either, I get an error message. I reached out to support, it’s been a few days and no response.
