Isomaps regroupe plusieurs fonctionnalités en une application. La météo, les point d’eaux, les exemples de tracés proposés par l’IA, suivis de ses parcours, visualisation de ses activités en vidéo 3D, l’affichage des massifs autour de nous, des stats hyper intéressantes... et je dois en oublier… L’interface est agréable et les cartes sont très précises, notamment pour le trail. IsoMaps est devenue un vrai réflexe pour préparer et suivre mes sorties outdoor. La cartographie est claire, le suivi des activités fonctionne très bien et les informations météo sont hyper pratiques pour anticiper ses sorties. On sent surtout qu’il y a énormément de travail derrière l’application et une vraie volonté de la faire évoluer. Une très belle alternative aux grosses plateformes, qui mérite clairement d’être davantage connue. C’est très intéressant, il y a plusieurs couches et étant géomètre et randonneur c’est très pratique. La vue 3D n’est pas très fluide. Mais c’est largement compensé par les données dont nous pouvons disposer, il y a même les photos pour les points d’eau. Généralement, j’utilise maps.me mais iso maps est bien plus complète. One glance tells you where the wind is coming from, and how hard. Layers cover the whole map Wind, snow and temperature stack from world level down to local detail, wherever you look. An indicator tells you when a layer is truly on screen. Layers are easier to read Overlay labels now appear, in their own colour with a halo that lifts them off the background. Difficult trails stand out as dashes, and status pills gain a white rim. The timeline starts at the current hour Wherever you open it, it opens on now. It keeps the map labels visible, and tells you when it is reloading after a date change. Route weather, even at ultra pace You can now go down to a 2 km/h average. Forecasts finally follow very long days in the mountains. Notifications ask at the right moment We explain what they are for first, then ask for permission when it actually makes sense. And if you declined, we show you the way to Settings. ### 4.3.4 — 2026-08-31 The weather on your home screen follows you “My location” now opens the row of places and shows by default. A favourite within 15 km takes over when you're nearby, and the place you pick yourself is remembered from one launch to the next. A home screen that rearranges smoothly Hide, move, reorder your widgets: the grid follows your finger cleanly, from the first to the last. Roller ski and biathlon, complete Both disciplines now offer the session type — endurance, threshold, intervals — just like cross-country skiing. Your climb recovered afterwards If validation slips past you at the summit, your GPS track vouches for it and the climb still counts. The history of your outings The finish screen lists every outing on an event, with your time or marked as given up. A fairer stopwatch Time now runs from the start line to the summit, measured by GPS at both ends. Your stats by year The year picker only offers years where you actually have outings, and the titles say what they show. ### 4.3.2 — 2026-08-28 The menu works from every screen Generate a route, download an offline map, import a GPX or start an outing: these now launch from anywhere in the app, without going to the map first. Route drawing starts in the right place Open drawing mode and the map settles on your position, at the right zoom, ready to trace. ### 4.3.1 — 2026-08-27 Peak recognition fixed The menu had stopped responding. It now waits for your GPS signal instead of giving up, opens in true augmented reality, and shows peaks from 0 to 40 km. Who liked your outing Avatars now appear under your stats. Tap them to see the full list. The timer follows your finger Drag along the elevation profile: elapsed time now shows alongside altitude and speed. You know when you're offline A badge appears as soon as the network drops. Your drawn route saves and displays without a connection. Text fixes Some labels showed in French whatever your language, and a few displayed their raw code.
