I wanted to play sf2 files via Bluetooth midi using a wind controller but the implementation is very poor and unusable. Lots of delay and hanging notes. Disappointing.

I thought it was an auv3, but it wasn’t. I checked to see if it was AAI, it was none of the two.

This is the easiest by far, for simply testing out (I won’t say ‘sampling’) soundfont files ie SF2 extension files.  For the low price, it’s worth it just to be able to quickly load up the soundfont from within the app, and tap a few ivories.  ALSO the stock sounds that come with it, are actually really nice eg Organ sounds from the soundfont file supplied with it.  Don’t have to hunt around for the soundfont files, it just seems to find the ones that dumped down into the ‘downloads’ files area on my ipad pro 2.

I have not explored whether it can do anything else, like work inside Cubasis or GarageBand etc, I simply rate this app for the cheap price, the unexpectedly really nice sounds included with it, and the fact it is rock solid in terms of reliability, AND it is very compact, being about 12Mb.  All of these make it an easy buy, I got no incentive to write this.  I’ve paid a lot more for apps and been much less able to use them.

2. Expose your app as MidiDestination so that other apps can sent midi event to your app as to sound module.

This really helped me with FL Studio Mobile, I just play the sound for a while to make a sample while my screen recorder is running, and then I convert the video to a wav file then I get easy samples, so thanks.

Con iPad 2 e Irig  midi c'è una latenza abbastanza importante....testato con garage band e xdrum invece la latenza è perfetta.
Se ci fosse una impostazione per ridurre la latenza.....ma è compatibile con audiobus?
