Also looks like days of configuration just to get started. Lastly it’s very geared towards the United States. Now the developers get back to me more than a year after this review. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We are not sure what you mean by no way to use the app though. The 14 day free trial includes 100% of the functionality of the app. The tutorial videos are available both within the app, as well as on our YouTube channel if you're looking to view them at a larger size. We are US based though, so the app is based on volleyball rules here. If you have feature requests for other rule sets, please let us know! ### 4/5 — Not sure what is wrong *2026-02-15, version 3.20.19* Probably the best app to record stats but it lacks a few things. First, it glitches with libero switches quite often. Also, to export the stats the email never gets out so stats are only available in the app. And last, support is lacking to fix all this issues quickly ### 4/5 — Use via Tablet! *2026-01-11, version 3.20.15* iPad works better than iPhone for the app. It is bigger and allows quicker access for buttons. I selected this as the best app to easily take very complete stats. There is a short learning curve, but now I easily enter stats. LOVE it. *2022-08-30* I have used iStat for going on 5 years now, and I will always recommend it. Being able to see detailed live stats in the match is so helpful, and the interface helps us keep track of rotations and I’m able to fix issues on the court before they happen! I use the legacy version right now, because it’s what I’m used to, but I’m excited to give RallyFlow a try too! The only thing I would tweak is the way you pull stat reports. This version is much better than the last but I would prefer to be able to customize the summary table so that I can add in exactly what stats I want to see without it being on different pages. ### 2/5 — We now pay yearly?? *2022-08-16, version 3.15.2* I have used iStat since the beginning. Wasn’t a fan of the upgrade to iStat 3 and I lost all of my stats from 2. Now I am starting my new season and will be charged again! I just had to resubscribe to 3 mid season and now I have to pay again! The fact that to swap a libero & do subs you have to hide the line up is so annoying. Also wish you had the option to hide the other side of the court if you don’t need to use it. But the company itself is amazing. However, it also provides multiple levels of detail that you can choose from for in game stats to allow for simpler stats. At the higher levels, the data available can be extremely helpful, especially since you can analyze your stats at anytime during the match. Additionally, the customer support is top notch. Barry was very responsive and helpful when I was having account issues and helped me get them resolved quickly. ### 5/5 — Solid, versatile *2025-09-03* This v3 is a profound innovation, and I’m saying that as a satisfied user of v2. RallyFlow works as it promises, and deduces & predicts many play elements from the context as you tap in gameplay moments. I process stats from video after the game, so I use Maximum and Custom detail settings to capture everything possible and create giant box scores. I really liked the v2 interface, and may still use it in the future, but I think I’m hooked on v3. ### 5/5 — MaxPreps & App *2024-10-05, version 3.19.4* For anyone who has ever had to enter stats manually.:::the new integration with MaxPreps is a lifesaver. I had a problem with my account exporting files. Barry promptly fixed my problem and now I have 45 minutes extra after every game. I don’t have to sit and enter each stat! ### 5/5 — Unsure of new update *2024-10-04* I have used this app for three years and have loved it every single year! It’s user friendly, easy to learn, and can keep up with the quick game. I personally liked the manual uploading of the stats, because now that it has the direct link, my stats are uploading incorrectly. For example, I just tried to upload last nights game (I was unaware of the new update) and it didn’t even upload 7 of my players stats, even though on the app they obviously have stats. I never had this issue with the old way of exporting the stats and then uploading. I had to go in and hand type all of these missing stats. I hope the fix this issue or at least give the option to export and upload the stats yourself. Please fix this! Update: they fixed this issue. I gave 5 stars. Love this app! Make sure to update to version 3.19.4, it gives you the option to choose between the automatic and manual export formats. ### 5/5 — Very Helpful & Responsive *2024-10-02* I’ve been experiencing some issues with the app. The team was very responsive in helping me resolve the issues. They have also been helpful in resolving some questions I’ve had regarding documenting 2nd touches. In general, this app has been extremely helpful in keeping statistics for my two high school teams. The features to directly export to MaxPreps (and other reporting apps) is fantastic. Love the app, but more recently I had a few questions for support and they were both timely and helpful! I am very appreciative of their support team! ### 5/5 — Great App *2023-11-15* IStat has hit it out of the park with this app. Does everything it says it will. Very intuitive and easy to use. They have different levels of stats you can take depending on the level of your team/stat taking abilities. I’m using this software as an assistant coach with a University team and it has everything we need…a great tool no matter what level you’re coaching at. I had a couple of questions and support was incredible. I recommend this app and it’s developers without reservation. ### 5/5 — Off to a bad start *2023-08-29* I received an email from iStatVball to join my team. I followed the instructions in the email but only got the example team. Tried signing out and back in, deleted and reinstalled the app, tried to delete and recreate my account, nothing worked. Send an email to support, no word back. Seems this app has some issues despite the good reviews and ratings from past years. ***Update*** IStatVball cleared my info, I recreated my account, everything came up as expected.
