We depend on this app for our curriculum, and this had made it difficult to use. Not sure if updates are still being made, but we would appreciate this being looked at! ### 3/5 — Still a good app, but v4.0 won’t run on an iPad running OS 12 *2021-04-05, version 4.0* I purchased this program quite a few years ago, and v4.0 appears to run just fine on an iPhone running iOS 14 as well as an iPhone 6 on iOS 12.5.1. However, I have an older iPad that also can’t upgrade beyond OS 12.5.2 and it is unusable on that device. The app crashes on the iPad whenever I attempt to open a clip. ### 3/5 — I can’t look over my videos *2021-02-18, version 4.0* When I bought the app, I was very happy. Everything was fine! Then, after my 4 video, when I try to re watch the video, it will stop the frame and delete the work. ### 1/5 — I'm going to be blunt... *2019-03-28, version 4.0* - no undo/redo options! - you cannot reorganize frames - drag and drop is useless, only function is to delete, which already exists as a button - cannot add new frames between frames - forces you to work linearly! - in app playback sometimes flickers, must render to video for accurate playback - not student friendly, doesn't let you correct mistakes Not worth your money. I made a few short clips and everything worked well- the onion skin feature is especially useful. Now when i open the app I get an orange screen or the frozen home screen. Feeling ripped off! Warum ist es nicht möglich, nachträglich noch einen Vorspann einzufügen? Die Option „Eine Auswahl von Clips anzuwählen und an eine andere Position zu verschieben“ sollte unbedingt noch vorhanden sein. Dann hat die App 5 Sterne verdient. ### 1/5 — Big problem/crash *2018-03-31* This application won’t work anymore, there are many crashes that don’t allow you to use it. We would like to give you access to a test version to see if we have found the issue. ### 1/5 — Multiple Crashes *2018-01-28, version 3.2.2* Spent over $30 purchasing Mac and IPad versions after recommendations from design professionals. Was highly disappointed that after hours work the program started crashing on both the iPad and the Mac. To make it worse, I spent a great deal of time setting up a studio with props, lighting, camera’s and like. Attempted to re download app after app stopped working all together...in the mean time I lost all of the work that I had done. After reopening continued to crash without even getting to home screen. Very displeased with the product being that I spent so much on it. I would like to know how to request a refund as nothing came out of the downloads at all and I am going to have to take the products off my computer and iPad all together to avoid it ruining my computer. ### 1/5 — Argh! Il est quand même étonnant qu’un éditeur se préoccupe aussi peu de la compatibilité de son logiciel... ### 1/5 — Used to be good...now horrible! *2017-12-05, version 3.2.2* I got this app for my son to make stop motion movies and was pretty good for his purposes. Now the app simply gives a blank yellow screen. Thinking that it might need to be reinstalled in deleted and tried to reinstall. The installation process crashes the iPad completely. I feel like I’ve been robbed! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! ### 1/5 — Worst stop-motion software out there! *2017-12-03, version 3.2.2* I use quite a few stop-motion apps and programs, but this one (and the Mac version), are total garbage! Recently, I upgrade to a 10.5 iPad Pro from an iPad Air and this program refuses to start. Just a blank yellow screen, then it ultimately crashes. When it did work in the past, I found it lacking the features of Stop-Motion Studio, which is a stop-motion app I highly recommend! Oh, and don’t get the Mac version, either. I purchased version 2 of that software, then they killed it when OS X was upgraded. It kept crashing and not recognizing any of the cameras that previously worked. Then, they had the nerve to ask me to upgrade to their latest version! This should be a no-brainer feature but the app actually prevents you from doing this and always defaults to landscape view even when rotating the phone. There is no way to have the image flipped the right way....like how you see the world. Instead, everything is a mirror image... Say you want a image like this ⍃ but when you take the picture, you instead get an image like this ⍄ Another example, you want this ⬅️ but you get this ➡️ Fix this! It was so cool. I like making stop motion. I really recommend this. Even though it’s really money, but it’s so good. I really recommend it. I’ve been doing this for like a day. I got it this day and it is amazing. I really really recommend. Hope you have fun doing stop motion. ### 5/5 — Great software *2024-04-30, version 4.0* Love this software, I've used this since version 2 and so glad that it still works with modern computers and devices. Instead of using the iOS remote tool, I use separate application like Camo Cam to use my iPhone as a video source and then I have more control over things like focus, lighting, filters and more. Together they make a great pair. ### 5/5 — Es dauert zu lange. 😡😤😩 *2023-01-15* Diese App runterzuladen hat mehrere Tage gedauert, weil diese zu viel Speicher verbraucht. Ich musste mein Fake IPad an der Steckdose lassen 😰😔. Aber abgesehen von der Ladezeit war die App wirklich richtig atemberaubend schlecht. Für einen Film muss ich ganz viele Fotos machen, statt wie gewohnt aufzunehmen (sehr unpraktisch) aber nach 3 Tagen ohne Pause war der Film fertig. Der Film war wackelig und richtig mies, weil meine Kaninchen immer weggelaufen sind und ich sie nur während dem schlafen filmen konnte, deswegen ist der Film sehr langweilig ☹️✂️📅 Allerdings muss ich zugeben, dass die Kamera auch sehr schlecht ist, weswegen alles unscharf ist (sehr nervig). Kauft euch das jetzt für meine Erfahrung, welche ich hier geteilt habe (keine Werbung oder sowas) 👍👍🍆 ### 5/5 — Super witzig und einfach zu bedienen *2021-07-23* #Ergänzung Juli 2021 Habe die App imm noch im Einsatz mit iPad und iPhone 11 – easy zu bedienen und inzwischen keine Probleme. Und die kleinen Animationen lassen sich als Video exportieren und in iMovie weiterbearbeiten, zB Vor- und Abspann,… hinzufügen. ——————————- Tolle App. Ich habe sie durch Zufall entdeckt und installiert - der Preis ist recht günstig. Zusammen mit meinem iPhone4 habe ich sofort angefangen die ersten Filmchen zu "drehen". Klasse. Inzwischen laufe ich durch die Wohnung und erwecke alles mögliche zum Leben. Man kann seiner Kreativität freien Lauf lassen. Ich hatte 2x nen Absturz. Allerdings war die bisherige Arbeit nicht weg, so dass ich keinen Punkt abgezogen habe. Für die investierten 4€ habe ich sehr viel Spaß und das sicher für ne lange Zeit, denn Ideen habe ich viele. Sehr viele. Profis werden sicher einige Funktionen vermissen. Aber für Freizeit-Steeven-Spielbergs sehr ich die einfache Bedienbarkeit als wichtiger an.
