They have not been designed very intuitively. It’s hard to figure out where to find the information you are looking for. The current version only informs the user if the event will be televised about half the time. The need to hire an app developer that is a sports fan and not just someone trying to score a buck! ### 2/5 — Streaming doesn’t work *2020-04-12, version 4.0.15* Can’t ever get the live steam or on demand to work correctly ### 2/5 — Video playback unreliable *2019-12-22* I usually have to attempt to watch the video multiple times before I can get the video steam to go. I just spent a couple of minutes watching the spinner go and got no video. My internet connection is very fast. This happens pretty much every time I try to stream a game. For example, a football game kickoff time is announced early in the week, but you get on the app Friday and it still says TBD. For example, I tried for 20 minutes to view Matt Campbell’s Baylor post game press conference. After several attempts, it appeared to finally load but after the 30 second commercial it hung up. There’s no indication it was making any progress. As of right now the app is unusable, which is a shame because it worked just fine prior to this update. ### 1/5 — Battery Hog! *2025-09-13* Every once in a while, will drain my battery with cell data shut off and the app not being used. Then The app was updated and for the past 3 years it's ridiculous. 1 - No function is provided to skip to a specific time in the broadcast? Why? This is basic! 2- The player will randomly stop playback, then restart at the beginning. Now you're screwed and you have to listen from the beginning again. This makes no sense. Super frustrating. It would be awesome if I could play the files on an app that actually functions. However, learfield dictates that ISU use this app. What a bunch of Jokers. Oh, and I pay for this service. Not happy. Their apps are not even close to the quality and extensiveness of the ISU app!! It resides on my home page.
