## What is Isy.AI?

Write it down. Isy remembers how it connects.

Type or talk: a thought on a walk, a line worth keeping, half an idea before sleep. Isy files it, links it to what you thought months ago, and brings it back when it matters. No folders. No manual links.

CAPTURE IN SECONDS
• Type a note, or record one. Isy transcribes your voice and tidies it up in your own words
• Brain dump: talk through everything on your mind and Isy turns each idea into its own note
• Turn screenshots and photos (a whiteboard, a page, a slide) into notes
• Reflect: five quick questions that draw out what's on your mind, saved in your words
• Bring in what your other AI assistant already knows about you, with one prompt

ISY CONNECTS IT
• Every note is tagged and linked to related earlier notes, automatically
• The Isy map: your Areas at a glance, sized by how many notes they hold, with lines showing how closely they connect
• A living page for each topic: your position, how your ideas connect, tensions, open questions and what it means
• Today's connection: one thread Isy found running across different Areas of your notes

IT COMES BACK WHEN IT MATTERS
• A daily digest that feels like finding an old notebook: a thought from months ago that connects to this week, and one question worth a minute over coffee
• Chat with your notes: answers cite the notes they come from, with dates, and say so when your notes don't cover something
• Ask anything, then tap a paragraph to save it as a note
• Optional reminders for today's connection and today's digest

EVERYWHERE YOU SIGN IN
• Sign in with Apple or Google for a free account: the same notebook on your iPhone and on the web at isy-ai.app
• Share a note, digest, connection, summary or chat as a clean PDF
• Export everything as Markdown at any time
• Lock Isy with Face ID

TWO WAYS TO USE ISY
• With a free account: your notes on every device, and all of Isy's AI
• Without an account: a simple notebook on your iPhone. Nothing leaves it, and there are no AI features

YOUR NOTES STAY YOURS
Your notes are encrypted in transit and at rest. Isy's AI runs through Isy Cloud with Google (Gemini) and Groq, and neither trains AI on your notes. Your notes are never sold and never used for ads. Delete your account any time from Settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.2.1 — 2026-10-19

• Chat citations now show the note's title and date, so you can see at a glance where an answer came from
• More reliable sync between your iPhone and the web
• Smoother updates in the background, and small fixes throughout

### 2.2.0 — 2026-10-18

Isy, everywhere.

• Create a free account to unlock all of Isy's AI: tagging, connections, your Isy map, the daily digest, voice transcription and chat — with your notes on every device, including the web at isy-ai.app.
• Prefer to keep it simple? Without an account, Isy is a private notebook on your iPhone. Nothing leaves it.
• Your Isy map now sizes each Area by how many notes it holds, and joins related Areas with lines that show how closely they're connected.
• Edited notes are re-read straight away, plus many smaller fixes.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-10-14

New in Isy 2.1

• Screenshots & photos → notes. Pick a screenshot, or a photo of a whiteboard or a page, and Isy turns the ideas in it into notes you can keep.
• Daily nudges. Turn on "See today's connection" (10:30 AM) and "See today's digest" (6:30 PM) in Settings → Reminders.
• Chats that stay organized. Every chat gets a short title, grouped by Today, Yesterday and earlier. Rename any chat with a long press.
• Share as a PDF. Share a note, today's digest, a connection, a summary or a chat as a clean, ready-to-send PDF.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-10-11

Isy 2.0 is the biggest update yet: a new way to see how you think.

• The Isy page, rebuilt. Your notes gather into Areas on a map you can explore — pinch to zoom right down to individual notes, then tap from an Area to its subtopics to the notes themselves.
• A real synthesis for every Area and subtopic: your position, how your ideas connect, the tensions between them, open questions, and what to do next. Every point links to the notes it came from.
• Today's connection: a way of thinking that shows up across different parts of your life, with the question it raises.
• Import from your other AI, now much faster and far more reliable. Processing keeps going if you leave the app, and you can see its progress.
• Sign in with Apple or Google to back up and sync your notes. Your account can be deleted any time from Settings.
• Lock Isy with Face ID, export everything you've written, and a morning digest that always comes together.
• Many fixes and improvements throughout.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-24

Isy now tunes itself to how you think. Tell Isy what you do when you first open it, and your empty page, your first reflection question, and your morning digest are shaped to fit — a consultant, a founder, a writer and a musician each get a different Isy.

Also in this update:
• Voice notes capture and transcribe more reliably.
• Chat reasons over your notes to answer harder questions, not just look things up.
• A quicker way to tell us how Isy is working for you.
• Assorted fixes and polish.
