After one hour of downloading optimising the app deleted almost 1200 of contacts. I don’t know how to retrieve the same. I tried uninstalling restarting etc. No use. Developer has to help me. Looking forward for your valuable feedback. ### 4/5 — Not a good contacts transfer : Update ! *2019-06-19* Like I’ve read here in some reviews, when the contacts transferred, they got all fouled up. Some very old ones from 15 years ago, some from who knows where, missing notes and photos, plus the source point got its contacts changed the same way. I think I have a backup on the desktop so I will try what Rokonnyc suggested. Hopefully I can get the important ones restored exactly as they were in my old phone before this catastrophe. I cannot recommend this app for full, cross platform transfers. Limited platform transfers may be another story. Update: After some experimentation I discovered what the problem was and from where it seemed to originate. I was transferring contacts from a BB Z10 to an iPhone XR. It was the Z10 that was causing most of the issues. Thus, the part above about not being the best with cross platform app still applies. Bottom line: I have all the contacts properly transferred now but it took a bit of effort. I now give it 4 stars. **Developer response:** Thank you for your kind words. My number is correct and no code is coming through. ### 1/5 — Terrible App deletes your contacts *2018-09-07, version 6.2.0* This app is terrible, it deletes/steals your contacts from your phone and moves (“archives”) it to the app, FORCING you to use the app to search for contacts. The support is also terrible. Happy productivity to you ! ### 1/5 — Trash *2018-05-09* This app is miles away from what is described in the screenshots. It has a recurring fatal error and no response to their Twitter dm’s. It doesn’t support the iPhone X at all as is depicted in screenshots. The groups feature that is heavily described in the marketing for the app is just a small part of a host of other bloated features (including an independent dial pad like I need their app to make phone calls, and a library of a bunch of random Indian car services?). **Developer response:** Thanks for your comments. Please let us know your registered emailID and phone number along with country code so we can help you further. ### 3/5 — New update better *2017-12-10* I switched phones recently with the promise of a smooth transition from the intouch app support team. I followed instructions and instead of a smooth transfer I was found with contacts on my phone that were completely irrelevant or outdated and definitely not transferred from previous phone. I contacted support again as I obviously needed contacts. Support was awful. They were unresponsive and answered 2 days later saying there was no need to manually enter contacts and that support was going to contact me to help. They still haven’t and I have had to go through all contacts and manually enter as obviously I cannot wait for InTouchApp to reply. Super disappointed. Figured out if I deleted all contacts via computer and then reinstalled app on phone it would sync from phone and be done. But seriously guys your customer service couldn’t tell me this easy fix? Wow.....anyway glad it worked out thanks to um...hmmm ### 2/5 — Dialer messed up numbers *2017-10-05* App is good for contact backup. But the dialer messed up the numbers. When typing a no. the sequence gets jumbled and hence couldnt type the correct number. A nightmare and far too lengthy a procedure to manually edit. It has also duplicated many of the entries, increasing my contacts database by at least 100%. Suggestions?
