I have created "I was here" to easily save locations of any places of interest, nice holiday addresses, cabins, etc. So that I can find out exactly where it was later. 
It works like this:

- Save your location really quick, wherever you are. Also very practical if you want to remember where your bike or car is parked.
- Save any location using the Pin drop method
- Save Point of Interests using the POI add method
- Share a saved location to your navigation app of choice.

- Privacy by Design: The app determines your location only during use. Your location data is not shared to anyone, unless you do it yourself.

Use the app to keep track of how many days I spend in each state for tax purposes.  Would be great if it added where I am each day automatically and totaled days in each state when requested
