--- Welcome to the world of real tanpura, shruti and tabla sounds ---
Our digital tanpura, shruti and tabla (taal mala) are based on real instrument sound samples, recorded in studio with a master sound engineer and professional musicians. The sound samples extracted from the recordings are carefully selected and masterised for the best musical rendering. We don't use any compressed mp3 sound. Our aim is to provide to the musicians an ambiance of real instruments.
Several high quality and perfectly tuned tampura sound samples are provided within iTabla Pandit. You can use them in ANY PITCH by changing the key. How to change the sound? Just select your new sound in the list and the instrument will play with this sound.
iTabla Pandit includes a set of stereo tanpura sound samples, recorded with AB stereo microphone technique.
For the future updates of iTabla Pandit (and iTabla Desktop, Tampura Generator on computer), we're planning to record new sound samples to provide more variety and best quality to the musicians who trust in our software. In 2011, some new sounds recorded in XY technique will be available.

Instead of upgrading iTabla Pandit Pro, you have come out with iTabla Studio App. Old customers who have been using this app, have not been given a single upgrade for the current app even for the poor quality of Tabla sound.

Tout de suite surpris par la qualité des sons en version light, semble valoir son prix... Alors j'achète ! Toutes sortes de ragas répertoriés en font un véritable outil d'apprentissage durable apparemment, merci pour ce vrai travail.(2017).
Aujourd'hui en 2019 j'utilise toujours régulièrement cette appli pour travailler la bansuri, mais j'essaye de synchroniser les rythmes tabla avec un programme informatique de loops (pour rajouter des couches guitare etc.) et je m'aperçois que les rythmes ne sont pas réellement calés par rapport à l'horloge de l'iPhone, donc pas possible de les caler avec mon ordi non plus, dommage !!

It's ok for few days of beginning, but then you see many shortcomings. It was costly and is no use after 2 months of practice.  
The load new music does not work nor their is any support. I won't recommend anyone to waste money on this.

This app not provide many tabla bola and it's tabla sound quality is very poor. I am not recommend this product anyone.

Sound quality is reasonable, needs improving in my opinion. Not enough choices of different styles of talas, only in many cases variations are available of the same style. Interface is a little cluttered but excellent. Much improvement on tabla sounds is needed, particularly the bhaya/dagga. I wish I had not purchased this as it is expensive and does not deliver enough styles and sound to my expectation. No inter-app, no audio bus support. Please improve and it a worthwhile app.
