Bravo!! ### 4/5 — Very good translator *2018-04-25, version 9.1* I use this app almost daily and it works perfectly except that it freezes randomly and I have to close it and reopen it multiple times. Other than that, this app is useful and you should get it. Searching in either language is quicker than having to select one or the other, but occasionally I have wanted to force one language and can't do it. A few words are missing, possibly because the book I am reading contains dialect or errors, but the dictionary plus Internet search works very well. I use it to translate words I can't think from Spanish to Italian. I'm studying the language for a project and I use it to talk to my friend from Italy. Overall it's a great app, it can translate full sentences as well. Easy interface allows user to simply type in the box in either English or Italian and quickly get a translation. It also keeps a record of translations for future reference and study. I don't know how the app manages to do its magic offline, but it does; so you don't need an Internet connection. Perfect for the traveler or English-speaking student studying in Italy. ### 5/5 — Benissimo! *2016-06-26, version 7.0* Just got finished reading Umberto Eco with the help of this app. Wasn't a word I couldn't find. Bravo! Like the new design as well. Very sharp. I have a couple of suggestions if you want to make it Perfetto: 1. Include noun genders (m/f). 2. Include links with verb conjugations. Keep up the great work! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2016-02-06, version 6.5* The ads are terrible. They are full-page, incessant, constantly popping up. They make the app useless. I deleted it within 10 minutes ### 3/5 — Good *2020-04-05, version 9.1* Sentence analyser stopped working, which is why it’s got 3 stars. ### 3/5 — Very useful but a few niggles *2020-02-18, version 9.1* Works quickly and easily when the word is obvious. Defaults to English when typing a word that is obviously Italian, but so far I have found no way to tell it to try Italian - is there a way? Tried the upgrade but it doesn’t want to stay there - whenever I start the app, it asks if I want to upgrade, which I have now done several times! Internet translation when it doesn’t know the word is pretty flaky. Sentence translation is word-for-word, so useless for idioms. Has now started to lock up frequently, and this doesn’t clear even if you unload the app and restart it. Very frustrating. Other apps are available for the more grammatical problems. HOWEVER - every time I open it, it asks me if I want to upgrade, and for a brief second I want to chuck it through the window😤😤😤😤😤😤😤👍👍👍 Asking me once a week would be fine.
