I have currently learned 25 words & phrases, and am planning on buying the full edition. Best app is the one for .99 cents that translates words from IT to EN and vice versa. Everything in there from most vulgar words and phrases to everyday prose. This one is by far the most useful because it uses a variety of flash card methods. It is a wonderful addendum to other study applications. My teenage son even joined in the quizzes and liked the confidence boost since he just took beginning Italian in school. The quizzes were varied and this free sample will teach you 155 new words with an audio pronunciation tutor quiz too! Not bad for a free starter.
