## What is Italicum?

La prima app che ti informa sull'Ora italica Attuale e sugli eventi legati al Carosello dell'Ultimo Sole di Sauro Corinaldi. Con ‘Ora Italica’, o ‘Ora Boema’, si intende il sistema di misurare il giorno che prevede la sua divisione in 24 ore, iniziando il conteggio dal tramonto. Si adottò in Italia, ma anche in Polonia e nelle regioni storiche della Boemia e Slesia, dal XIV secolo sino a fine del XVIII secolo, quando Napoleone lo sostituì con l’attuale sistema a ‘ora moderna’ che tutti conosciamo, e che prevede il conteggio delle ore a partire dalla mezzanotte. Una variante dell’ora italica era quella di iniziare a conteggiare la giornata al momento del crepuscolo, mezz’ora dopo il tramonto, proprio ‘a sole calato’.
