It’s definitely way better than most inventory apps, especially the apps that are free. I use it for documenting products/ Items to be resold. Honestly, the layout is a little boring, lol, would like if it had more flavor, but I’m young (20’s), so someone older might prefer it, idk. Les modifications liées au rangement ultérieur sont aussi très simples à gérer. Application capable de s'adapter aux mille et une façon de ranger propre à chacun. Storing everything to cook, clean, navigate and maintain a boat and still find clean clothes is a challenge! This app definitely helped me find everything I hid in all the boat cubby holes so we don’t over-purchase items or run out. When I am shopping for new supplies I have my entire inventory with me so I am not purchasing any duplicates. It took me quite a while to get everything entered but was well worth it. App is very easy to use. ### 5/5 — "Where the $@& ! did I put that..." *2022-06-19* this is a super handy little app for those of us who can never seem to remember where we have stored things. Although it’s not really a customizable database it has a slew of handy features including if you loan an item to someone, the value, etc. With a few tweaks it could probably be used to help with insurance claims (allow multiple photos, attachments, etc.) though I know that's not its intended purpose. It helps me remember the things from one year to the next that are kept in storage. Over the years I have pretty much identified, itemized and located all my possessions. I can tell when I purchased the item, how much I paid, who I purchased it from and where it is located in my house. Pretty much all my possessions are at my fingertips and when I need to know where something is, it is easy to find. Invaluable and totally unique application for my phone. Pleasantly surprised to see that developer has been updating the app about once a year. Malheureusement j’ai l’impression qu’il n’y a plus d’évolution et ça m’inquiète. Est-ce qu’une évolution d’iOS rendrait l’app inopérante ? La fonction qui manque (évoquée par d’autres avis) : une meilleure synchronisation avec iCloud et la prise en compte du partage familial. Je serai prêt à repasser à la caisse pour cette sécurisation, mon usage a largement amorti le coût initial… ### 3/5 — À découvrir mais attention à la sauvegarde ! *2022-01-17* Beaucoup de collègues professeurs de danse et moi même cherchions un outil fonctionnel et adapté pour gérer nos stocks de costumes et nous recommandons vivement cette application ! Pas besoin de saturer votre Google photo avec des données, une façon simple et clair de retrouver par catégorie, avec les tailles, les quantités, l’emplacement exact dans votre lieu de stockage… Seul problème: la sauvegarde !!! Après plus de 3 semaines de travail d’inventaire j’ai tout perdu car j’ai dû faire une mise à jour retour usine de mon iPhone suite à de nombreux pb et l’application que j’avais acheté quelques semaines plus tôt avait disparu…Impossible de retrouver mes données sur mac car pas de compte spécifique, juste une trace de mon pdf que j’avais généré quelques jours avant… Je serai prête à refaire confiance à cette appli si elle me garantissait une possibilité de sauvegarder sur iCloud et retrouver mon catalogue en temps réel sur mac grâce à un identifiant apple de sorte de pérenniser mes heures de travail d’inventaire et de ne jamais perdre l’appli (payante) même si je devais changer de téléphone… ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Abandonnée 😡 *2024-02-18* Édit 2024 : plus de mises à jour, application abandonnée qui pourtant avait du potentiel. À oublier. Édit quelques jours plus tard : je conserve l’application finalement, car pour les factures, dans note, on peut mettre une photo. Par contre il faut absolument moderniser cette application, graphiquement et ergonomiquement. La synchronisation automatique serait un énorme plus. Actuellement il faut effectuer 5 clics pour cela, manuellement et il faut chercher pour trouver comment synchroniser. Pas du tout intuitif! Messieurs les concepteurs, la balle est dans votre camp 😉🙏🏻 Et oui, je pensais que l’on pouvait scanner les codes barre des différents objets et que l’application irait chercher les infos sur le net, comme le font tant d’applications... Raté, le code n’est jamais reconnu et il faut tout rentrer manuellement. Il ne sert qu’à retrouver un objet dans votre liste déjà remplie. De plus je pensais, au vu des photos d’écran (un bouton .pdf) que l’on pouvait associer une facture à l’objet. Et raté encore, la non plus ce n’est pas possible. Je vais tenter de me faire rembourser. They are way too small/low resolution to be useful. Makes dealing with photo's and information almost impossible. Do not bother wasting your time or money. My deceased grand mother could have done a better job on this one. ### 1/5 — Don't Waste Your Money 👎 *2012-08-07, version 1.73* I downloaded the lite version and found it fairly simple to use, but it allowed you a very limited no. of items you could inventory, so of course I caved a bought the paid version. I put in a number of items in my paid version, but still had about 13 items in the lite. Customer support gave me instructions for importing into the paid version but failed to mention that it ERASES all the data in the paid version. So angry, customer service gave a curt sorry, there's nothing we can do! Do yourself a favor and get a version that allows you to save to Dropbox and has a customer service team that is not quite so flippant! I really wish that apps could be refunded. ### 2/5 — 1980’s scanner *2023-02-14, version 1.995* The bar code scanner is not easy to use. You need just the right amount of light and after that it won’t be found in their database. I scanned 34 everyday items and NOT ONE was found in the database. What a waste of money. Deleting app ### 2/5 — Good but... *2017-01-13, version 1.983* Since writing the review below I have YET to see one update. This could be so much more but the developers don't seem to want to improve it. I paid for the upgrade so now I'm stuck with it I guess...until I find a better app. Jan12, 2017 ------- 1. I'd love to be able re-name databases. 2. Syncing between devices is too complicated with the saving to Dropbox etc And even emailing the files I'd hit-n-miss. Live updates would make this app stellar!!! 3. I use (my paid version) for my home based business, finished products, and I'd love a "sold" feature 4. Adding notes section could be spiffed up to look cleaner, more streamlined. ### 2/5 — Not bad *2012-04-22, version 1.69* Can we change the currency please to Aus dollars ### 3/5 — Useful but Needs to be more user friendly *2024-09-27, version 1.995* I can never remember the name of this app. If you search for inventory which is the first word that comes to mind it is about 30th in the App Store and doesn’t show up on my phone at all. if you search for storage in the App Store it doesn’t show up for pages The photo in the App Store shows nice bars separating the different levels, mine just has a list which is difficult to navigate. I want to add a different place of storage at level zero but then realised I had already done that and it seems to be impossible to delete it. So I’m just finding it hard work. ### 3/5 — Bien mais peu mieux faire *2022-11-12* Point positif: une fois la logique compris, l’application fonctionne bien, permet de créer les emplacements de rangements avec plusieurs niveaux. Le scan du code barre, l’ajout de photo est un vrai plus. Point négatif. L’ergonomie de l’application est pas très intuitive, à mon sens il manque de pouvoir attribuer les sorties de stock à une destination, exemple « chantier Xy » une synchronisation automatique entre les appareils iPhone iPad pour le même compte. La possibilité de modifier l’ordre des rangements Cela reste une bonne application que je recommande, le prix est très correcte. But it's been 3yrs with no updates. 😕 ### 5/5 — Brilliant *2024-11-30, version 1.995* I’ve been trying a few apps to record my inventory, this has been the best so far, very accurate, took a while to input the information, but very, very happy with the end result. Really easy to change the stock level when used or added and the pdf print off of your inventory is spot on. So many other apps print off your inventory out of order, which makes things difficult when doing a stocktake, but eStorage is in order & shows an image of the item to make it even simpler. Each time we move we wonder if this mirror will fit, or that chest of drawers. Along with a photo of every piece of furniture and painting and print are its dimensions and that’s probably what is most useful. I’m a realtor and I recommend this to anyone moving, anyone who has anything worth insuring, and collectors of various things, from baseball cards to clothes to cars.
