If you've selected a city to calculate time with that is across the international dateline from your actual location, the day/date shown on the date/time selection wheel reflects the day for your current, physical location, rather than the city selected. When you tap the "close" button, the app then calculates the wrong day for all cities in the list. For example, I'm in the MST time-zone (Denver, CO). It's Monday, 4/25. I've been told that I have a meeting with someone in Seoul, South Korea on Wed., 4/27 at 9:30AM their time. I double-tap on Seoul in the list, moving it to the top and making it the active city. I tap the time button, use the wheels to select Wed., 4/27 at 9:30AM, then tap close. The app then calculates the times incorrectly, displaying the time/date of my meeting in Seoul as THURS., 4/28 at 9:30AM, and time in Denver as WED., 4/27 at 6:30PM. The time of day is correct, but the day of the week is completely wrong - it should be Wed. in Seoul and Tues. in Denver. If I do this calculation the other way, working with the time in Denver (my physical location) instead, it can do it properly. ### 4/5 — Does what is says on the tin *2011-03-18, version 2.0.1* A simple app that the developer is obviously committed to. Time comparison has a bug showing 1 day back. ### 4/5 — Great App. Functions nicely. *2011-01-13, version 2.0* This App works great to convert future date/time in another time zone to my time zone. My daughter is traveling over seas, and this helps me make simple and easy time conversions. Something I could do with simple math... but now "there's an app for that!" On the negative side, the time setting wheel is not obvious. If I had not read Dave Murdock's response to whitenoise, I might have been really frustrated. Thanks! ### 2/5 — They ruined the app *2010-12-24, version 2.0* Since the most recent update I can no longer change the time to see the effect on other time zones (for meetings and such). I don't know if its hidden somewhere, a bug, or just a dumb decision to limit the functionality of the app. Too bad. It's perfect for helping organize meetings in multiple time zones, which I do on a daily basis. All I could do is compare current time with another city. No need for this as it is a standard widget with the iphone. There is no way to back test time as advertised. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2018-12-06* Major glitches with this version. This app used to work well, but now it is useless. For example, when I go to put in the time to convert, it swaps the cities around, deletes cities from my list, and add ones that weren’t there. ### 1/5 — Not worth the money. This is a basic reproduction of the clock function already included in iOS. Seems the Devs forgot to set the clock 😴-----OK, I might have a solution for those having incorrect times (since they aren't working in there app). Force close iTimezone if its open. Go into settings, general time/date. Toggle your iDevice time to set manually. Close Settings and open iTimezone. The times should be correct. Mine were corrected on a 4s running current iOS. Go back to settings, general, time/date and re enable automatic setting. Go back and ensure iTimezone is displaying the correct times. ### 1/5 — Wasted money *2012-06-22, version 2.0.3* I wanted a world clock. This is heavily into US place names. I travel around the world for work and being able to convert a future time and date in one time zone into what time and date it will be another time zone or my home time zone is invaluable. I have found every time zone I have needed by entering the city I am in or a nearby city. It is particularly helpful in helping determine what day it will be when converting time. This comes in very handy when the international dateline is part of your travels and you can easily be off my an entire day if you miscalculate. If you ever have travel fatigue, you know that things like calculating time can get challenging and this app makes it simple. July 2021 update: Still glad to be using this app for my work related time conversions. ### 5/5 — Best of the lot *2019-10-15, version 3.0* I used to love this app, and seemed to have lost it a while ago but this new version I just found works a treat. It’s the black belt of time zone apps. Bravo. ### 5/5 — Cant wait for ios11 update! *2017-09-25* I have used iTimeZone for five years or more. I use it regularly to plan meetings with colleagues in multiple time zones across the world. What time can i plan a meeting that is during business hours in multiple time zones? iTimeZone helps you do this. If you are flying to another city, you can set that city as your current city then enter the time you land and immediately see what time that will translate to in other time zones across the globe. ESSENTIAL!!! ### 5/5 — It's old but good *2014-05-30, version 2.0.3* iTimeZone was last updated in 2011, so surely there are newer apps that do it better? Well, no. Time and again I find myself going "back" to this app to find out when an overseas online event is happening in my country. iTimeZone is by far the quickest for that task. You simply tap the city in your list of favourites, make it the Home City, and adjust the date/time for the Home City. Against your own city you'll see the corresponding date/time. Tapping the "Now" button gives an easy to read reference for current times at all your Favourite cities. It would be nice to get a Retina update, but this looks fine on both iPhone and iPad. The best is now a classic. 9-Dec-2010: Latest update seems to have switched off the Day name option, hence keep getting the digit 1 not the day Sun (as in image above!) Hope the new update will fix this. BTW Sydney is in the App; I live here! 28-Jun-2010 The best in the iPhone Apps (but no iPad yet). Select your city, add all other cities (no limit), roll wheel for any date + time (or click Now), the list of cities equivalent times change dynamically, as you roll the wheel. Very nice.
