I purchased this app because it claimed I could manually enter points on a map to find the area. Doesn't work! Even when trying to use it to physically go to each point, no map is displayed. Don't bother with this unless major changes are made.

**Developer response:** It does work, and we have a video on Youtube that demonstrates this.

Doesn't work out the area in acres or hectares useless unless you want to measure distances....... Only accurate up to 5m

Very inaccurate with the GPS method, a compass and pacing will produce more accurate results.  Actually found that grabbing corner coordinates off another GPS app and calculating the area of the polygon myself also produced betterresults.  But hey, if +/- 50% is close enough...

App cannot correctly calculate the area of a field. Tried in feet and meters. Both calculated a 25 acre field as only 14 acres while GPS was within 15'.

I was trying to measure the area of an irregular polygon where I knew the lengths of the sides. Ideally, I wanted to draw this on a map and measure. It doesn't do that. You can drop pins where you think they belong, but you can't make precise measurements. Apparently Apple won't refund your money unless you spend hours hunting down the developer and getting it in writing the functionality you need doesn't exist. So if this is the functionality you need bypass the expense.

**Developer response:** We never received any email from you. But, here we are, and we want to help you. 
It is not enough to know the length of the sides, as you also need to know the angle of a corner that two adjacent sides make. But, please contact us and we will assist you.

Nice idea but without any visual feedback along the way, be prepared to make precise measurements to close your polygon properly in manual mode. I reverted to pencil and paper. Gps mode isn't accurate enough for small landscaping work.
