It's painful to listen to some of them speak! These courses can be dozens of hours long, and a huge portion of that time is just wasted with them trying to be funny! They should either provide their people with public speaking training, or find better instructors. Don Pezet is amazing, and a few others aren't too bad. Unfortunately, the worst instructors seem to do the most videos. The virtual labs and testing are the real benefit, if you can afford a premium account. ### 4/5 — Great App *2023-06-04* Great App and good education. However sometimes the content is explained way too quickly even at reduced speeds. This might be beneficial to those with prior IT knowledge/experience but tough for those new to the industry. Otherwise great platform! ### 3/5 — App crashes when trying to look at courses *2023-04-05* I love the content it keeps me entertained when I just want to listen to things and it’s a plus that I’m learning something. The app is not the best it doesn’t have a dark mode the biggest problem now is that it keeps on crashing whenever I hit courses. ### 2/5 — Chromecast Option Not Working *2023-03-08* When trying to Chromecast from the app I am told there are no devices available and to make sure local access is enabled for the app in settings. When in the setting for the app there is no option for local access to enable. This is a function I had planned on using a lot and is completely useless right now. Please fix ### 4/5 — Practice test *2023-02-04, version 2.5.5* Is there a plan to include practice test in this app soon? ### 3/5 — Too much rambling! *2022-10-03, version 2.5.5* The great thing about ITProTV are the virtual labs and practice tests. The videos however have far too much rambling! Just get to the point!!! They waste far too much time fumbling for words and joking around! If you want to waste your time by all means, please do, but don't waste your viewers time! They waste so much time they never really deep dive into anything! ### 3/5 — No Local Network Option for iOS *2022-09-17* The app does not allow you to cast to another screen from the screen share option within the video. When trying to screen cast, it states that no devices are available. It then requests that you enable Local Network access, however, when going to the application, the option to enable Local Network access is missing. Please fix… ### 2/5 — Missed opportunity *2022-06-29, version 2.5.5* Videos do not fill up your screen if you have rotation lock on. A feature like YouTube’s full screen would have been fantastic here. ### 3/5 — Content is good. App is lacking features *2022-06-27* Background video/audio playback is non existent. Pauses as soon as the app is minimized or if you even pull down the Notification Center shade. Transcripts aren’t available in the app Videos also need to downloaded individually for playback in less than ideal network scenarios. Would be nice to bulk download a full courses video. ### 2/5 — Can’t listen without screen on *2022-06-24, version 2.5.5* Trying to listen with headphones and using headphone mode, have to have screen on. ### 1/5 — Barely works *2022-03-24* I spend more time resetting this application because it always freezes and the videos pause all the time the app barely functions which is very sad hopefully whoever made this app starts to step up because this is ridiculous I don’t see how you expect to be taken seriously was such a low quality application ### 3/5 — Fix the Casting to tv please *2022-03-18, version 2.5.5* I would LOVE to be able to cast to my tv but when I go to cast it immediately displays”No devices available” like it doesn’t even bother scanning. YES local network access is turned on and my work is on. Please fix. ### 3/5 — Airplay doesn't work *2022-02-15, version 2.5.5* The app never requests local network access, therefore will never see any airplay devices ### 3/5 — AppleTV is buggy / content is mixed *2022-02-03* AppleTV version is buggd and plays 2 audio tracks when autoplaying, I have to restart the video to stop it. I have the latest tvOS. Other platforms I've had no problem. Interface is basic but functional. Some trainers are knowledgable but not good presenters, trying to talk too fast, stumbling over their words, and constantly correcting themselves. Many have commented the A course is rambling and stumbling that goes on forever, often on tangents. People point this out and the response is that he won awards. Great, he still needs help speaking publicly. Some presenters are great, Azure course for example. Sometimes I see. Buggy video. Big issue. It would be nice to be able to cast to TV. When I try it states there are no devices. All other apps on my IPad are able to cast and display the list of devices around me ### 1/5 — So poor. Shame on you itprotv. *2022-01-01, version 2.5.5* Buggy, crashes and is pretty much unusable. No interest in fixing or even updating the app…. Last update 5 months ago!!!! A real shame as could be great. So odd that an IT teaching app would be so shockingly bad and so little interest in making it work. ### 1/5 — Freezing *2021-11-24* The app freezes, on iphone and iPad. You can only hear when it freezes. Also when driving it freezes a lot and when it becomes available it comes back very fast. It’s very annoying when it does freezes even under wifi. I use Udemy while driving and that app works flawlessly, you might want to contact them and ask for help. Thinking about canceling the service just for this reason. Every time you select a video to watch, the app crashes. Try to download for offline use the episodes are played in alphabetical not series order. Is no way to see what’s been played. However it seems to be stuck in a constant refresh loop and keeps logging in & out automatically. I have managed to use the app successfully about 5 times since the start of the year. Tried deleting and re-installing but to no avail. Gave up with hoping it would work as I went on the app each day and moved onto other learning apps instead. It’s a shame, if it worked as intended would have easily deserved 5 stars. ### 1/5 — Poor performance *2023-02-08, version 2.5.5* It’s odd and disappointing to see a tech training company with good trainings and material use such a poor app. The app stuttered or simply would never load the content. I switched back over to YouTube and professor messer simply because I knew it would work when I needed it to.
