## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-05

• Improvements to sharing, redaction and document privacy
• Bug fixes

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-03

Notifications now carry the ITR mark.

• The app's own icon appears on every notification instead of a plain square.
• Notifications are switched on properly the first time you open the app, so an incoming document actually reaches you.
• They now appear under "PaperPlane transfers" in your phone's settings rather than "Miscellaneous".

PaperPlane devices

• You can now edit a paired device's PaperPlane ID, not just its name and type — handy when the other device's ID has changed.
• Editing an ID can no longer leave you with two entries for the same device, one of which reached nothing.
• Regenerate this device's PaperPlane ID from Settings if you ever need a fresh one.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-03

Annotating now happens on the document itself.

Tapping the pen used to replace your document with a separate editor, one page at a time. Now the page stays exactly where it is and you mark it up in place — draw, highlight, underline, strikethrough, text, boxes, ovals, lines, arrows and erase, all on the document you were already reading.

• Your marks stay on the page you drew them on, and they are still there when you come back to it.
• Swipe between pages while marked up, exactly as before.
• The highlighter has its own colors, so a highlight is never black.
• Tapping a label no longer erases the shape underneath it.

Live review sessions

• View only now really means view only. A document shared for viewing can no longer be exported, opened in the full editor, or kept open after the session ends.
• Permission to annotate is applied the moment it is granted, and taken back the moment it is revoked.
• Undo takes back your own marks — never the other person's.
• Annotations from the other device arrive promptly instead of lagging behind.

Also fixed

• The page slider now moves to the page you drag it to.
• Text you place is added to the page you placed it on.
