## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Keeps locking content

*2026-08-18, version 3.0.8*

I had a weekly subscription set up and it kept locking the content. I decided to try and buy the lifetime subscription to see if it would help and everything is still locked. I’m honestly irritated bc they don’t really even give you a way to reach out to resolve this issue.

### 1/5 — I would rate zero if I could.

*2026-03-28, version 3.0.4*

I downloaded this because I was bored but you can literally only practice ABC and 123 for the alphabet and number. I find that absolutely insane and money hungry, you won’t even let us write the full alphabet if we don’t pay 4.99/1mo or 19.99 for a lifetime???.. Deleted it right after I found that out and will not be downloading again. They also use AI a LOT, if I knew I would have not even interacted with it in the first place. You’re so lazy you can’t find actual images of common things like mugs? Boooo tomato tomato 🍅🍅🍅👎

### 1/5 — Thank you

*2025-12-20, version 2.6.1*

### 1/5 — It looks like grown-ups have bad printing

*2022-02-24, version 2.6.1*

That printing is so bad that doesn’t even look like that letter

### 1/5 — Not free

*2021-02-12, version 2.5.6*

It’s called iTrace free but only letters a-d are free. You have to pay to unlock the rest... same for numbers and so on

### 1/5 — Disappointed OT

*2021-01-31, version 2.5.6*

The sound doesn't work. It appears that I got scammed paying for this app that doesn't work properly.

### 1/5 — Family share is not working on this app.

*2020-11-02, version 2.5.6*

GARBAGE THAT THEY WOULD OFFER A FULL APP AND ONE WITH IN APP PURCHASES. IN APP PURCHASES CANNOT BE SHARED IN FAMILY SHARE. THESE PEOPLE WANT TO MAKE US PAY FOR EACH DEVICE. WHAT LIE!

### 5/5 — Difficulty with the update resolved

*2026-05-15, version 3.0.8*

Recently I updated my phone and was forced to update this app with it. It was difficult and instead of contacting the company to figure out the problem, I complained on my review. Immediately someone from the company responded and suggested I email them to get it fixed. I emailed the company and received an answer right away. What great customer service! They were able to make it right and I once again can used this amazing app. This is one of the best handwriting apps out there. It was a great tool for my now 14 year old and I can still use it for my 3 year old. It is such a great way for little ones (and big ones) to work on handwriting. Thank you for all you have done and are doing!

### 5/5 — good balance

*2026-05-07, version 3.0.8*

It feels like a good balance between guidance and independence.
