### 3/5 — Keep track of past session

*2020-04-15, version 1.1.6*

It sure would be nice if it kept better track of vocabulary learned in past days better than it does at present

### 3/5 — No option foe English speakers

*2020-04-12, version 1.1.6*

The app is in English, but there is no English speaker option to learn another langugae. Users can learn English, but no option to be an English speaker learning the available languages. Why?

### 3/5 — my expression

*2020-04-10, version 1.1.6*

thanks for this program, I'm so happy 🤩

### 3/5 — The App Won’t Talk To Me

*2020-04-02, version 1.1.6*

I’m trying to learn Korean but I can’t learn anything because every time I try to learn a new word it doesn’t say the word for me and if the app doesn’t say the word for me I won’t know how to say it so can this feature in the app be fixed please

### 3/5 — Just disapointed

*2020-03-11, version 1.1.5*

The app by itself is good...Just not “amazing” when you did a couple lessons and you want another one it will say “Buy Pro”!
And that’s the disappointing thing about it I tried multiple times to get a new lesson and again and again it wanted me to buy “Pro”
If you have some spare money and you REALLY want to lead a language I will recommend this but it does have some other flaws
1.The mistakes
You want to improve you mistakes,so you her to the mistakes button and see that you have no mistakes! You remember that tumulus had some but the app says no no no you dont😒
2.Heding out the app
Now you are in a lesson, and you have something else to do so you close the app. When you are free again it’s goes to the home page...
That’s all I have to say,
Developers please fix these flaws, thank you
Bye

### 3/5 — It’s fine

*2020-02-09, version 1.1.5*

I been waiting to learn Japanese but sadly I only get 1 lesson, this is my first day trying it and if I get one lesson each day I guess I’ll put the stars at 4 it’s good for you can know different languages to be honest, this is kinda better than that green bird lol I hope y’all read this, it’s a good app but I want suggestion

•Maybe make two lesson each day one in the morning and another in the afternoon

•Bug fixing

•More than one lesson

•custom noise (Like if you get it wrong, you can change the noise in setting)

•A section bar that you can review your words more than once
This is just a suggestion and yeah, please don’t hate me lol

### 3/5 — Please add Vietnamese

*2020-02-08, version 1.1.5*

I installed this to teach my Vietnamese grandma, English. I also want to learn Vietnamese to talk to my grandma

### 2/5 — Weak

*2020-01-31, version 1.1.4*

Doesn’t share words learnt across devices. Totally incomprehensible decision.

### 2/5 — 🤦🏼‍♂️Great idea but needs a lot of updates

*2020-01-16, version 1.1.4*

Needs to speak the word every time you select or spell a word. Let you look at what you just answered and see the correct spelling. Have a button to go to the next page, not auto change.

Liked the idea that you can go into this with just a few words and progress steadily. But I really dislike the way it doesn’t let you ponder what just happened.

The speech recognition is terrible! Wether you use AirPods or just the phone. On simple words it picks up completely different than what was said.

### 2/5 — Random words

*2020-01-15, version 1.1.4*

The app name is confusing, I thought I would be learning everyday/common lingo for a new language. You’re taught four new words a day that are completely random. It would be more interesting and informative to learn common phrases or words.

### 1/5 — It only lets you do one lesson then you have to buy lingo plus.

*2020-01-06, version 1.1.4*

It’s not a good app.

### 1/5 — :)/;(

*2020-01-03, version 1.1.4*

i only get so many lessons, ,, this really wasn’t worth itmuch words down my neck this way, and it makes it way easier to look back on previous words mentally. The only problem is the speaking portion, it doesn’t register what i say, and when i say it a second time it doubles the word and marks it wrong. Korean is a second language for me, and i want to advance my knowledge, and so far... this app has been very helpful!

### 4/5 — Great, with one problem

*2020-01-03, version 1.1.4*

The app is great, but there needs to be a way to review past words with their pronunciations. The current review section is extremely lacking; there should be a better way to quiz the past words, and also include another section where you can solely just look at the words (with their pronunciations).

Also, for Korean, there should be an option to toggle the romanization for Hangul off.

Otherwise, I have no complaints (:

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Frustrating, good while it lasted

*2026-04-13, version 1.1.10*

I really enjoy this app i do, if only i could get the subscription. It’s so frustrating because I bought one month of the subscription and it says purchase successful then I go into the app and it says it not found. Extremely frustrating! And even wasted 5 bucks😔

### 1/5 — DO NOT USE

*2025-12-16, version 1.1.10*

I tried this out to supplement my Mandarin and they were saying ai means dark when it actually means love. The hanzi didn’t even have anything to do with the word dark since that’s 黑(hēi) or 暗(an). Don’t use this app they’ll literally reach you the wrong thing.

### 1/5 — subscribed but won’t give me pro

*2025-11-18, version 1.1.10*

took my money and will not give me pro subscription.

### 1/5 — Warning

*2020-12-27, version 1.1.6*

They will charge you $49.99. I some how unknowingly got a pro subscription. Be careful!

### 1/5 — Uhmmm..

*2020-06-17, version 1.1.6*

You can barely understand anything since it’s voiced by a robot and not a human-being. It teaches you at a very slow pace because you only learn 4 words per lesson. Over all it’s not the best way of learning a language but it’s not the worst mostly because it’s very hard learning a language through a book. I would not recommend this to anyone trying to learn a language.

### 1/5 — Useless free version

*2020-06-12, version 1.1.6*

Only let me use it for one lesson on the first day now I have to pay to have any lessons more. Learn 4 words then pay... useless

### 1/5 — Wow an add that makes you get a app you pay for

*2020-03-18, version 1.1.6*

Just no.

### 1/5 — scam

*2020-01-18, version 1.1.4*

allows you to do one lesson before forcing you to pay for premium to do any more lessons

### 1/5 — Boring

*2020-01-11, version 1.1.4*

Sdksksksksksksksksks and I pop
Save the turtles

### 1/5 — 😭😭😭

*2020-01-07, version 1.1.4*

I wanted to learn Arabic but they didn’t have it so I chose Spanish. The lessons were unclear on directions, and the microphone kept thinking I said man man when I said cansado. I also don’t like how you need to pay to get your SECOND LESSON. I barely learned anything from the first lesson. If you could fix these issues, I would definitely give this a higher rating. I would appreciate if you tweaked this. Thank you for reading this.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome if you already have iTranslate Pro, This Is Free!!!

*2024-11-04, version 1.1.10*

Awesome if you already have iTranslate Pro, This Is Free!!!

Not sure if this is worthwhile otherwise.

### 5/5 — Pricey Learning

*2023-07-12, version 1.1.6*

I love this app so much and it really does have a clean finish and so many helpful features that ensure that you not only know what the words look like and what they mean, but also how to say them and speak them. It really is a helpful tool but I wish to learn at a faster pace and can’t do to being limited by the non premium features. I wish learning could be free because even at such a low price I can’t afford it. That makes me sad, I really do wish to advance but can’t. :(

### 5/5 — Lingo

*2022-07-16, version 1.1.6*

This program makes you listen to the word, speak it and spell it. A great way to increase vocabulary!

### 5/5 — Lingo is great!

*2020-02-24, version 1.1.5*

The lingo program for learning languages is easy and fun. I recommend it for everyone.

### 5/5 — Working hard.

*2020-02-04, version 1.1.5*

At 67 learning a new language is difficult but I keep plugging away.
Often the person speaking throws me off but again there will be other people I will encounter with dialects, so my ear needs to pick the sounds.

### 5/5 — Easy and fun

*2020-01-11, version 1.1.4*

Really enjoying this app

### 5/5 — Me DiDonato

*2020-01-08, version 1.1.4*

Very good an interesting way to learn new words and pronunciation

### 5/5 — Lesson history needs pronunciation

*2019-12-30, version 1.1.4*

I don't know how to pronounce the words in my lesson history. Use English letters for Chinese pronounciation in lesson history please. The list of words in my lesson history should have English letters pronounciation next to Chinese characters and English word.

### 5/5 — cool

*2019-12-14, version 1.1.4*

awesome !

### 5/5 — Aprendiendo

*2019-12-13, version 1.1.4*

Fascinante
