The digit size is bigger, the format looks much nicer on the App Store. The hourly animation is annoying, there is no way to turn this feature off. **Developer response:** Thank you for reaching out with feedback. The image on the App Store was taken directly from app screenshots, but there might be some customization needed to get the desired effect that you want. The good news is that the hourly animation can indeed be turned off in the app settings - turn off the “screen saver”. Some sort of screen saver was requested by customers, but we made it possible to disable it. Thank you again for your feedback! ### 2/5 — Used to be *2023-07-08* This doesn’t work very well any more. Sometime the screen is blank. Some times not. The numbers are oddly spaced apart and don’t seem to format properly on an iPhone 13 Pro with the latest iOS. Thank you! ### 5/5 — Bedside Clock *2022-09-13* I use this app every single night. I love it. I can’t recommend this app highly enough if you need a clock for your bedside. I use a black background and red digital font so it’s nice and easy on the eyes and looks just like a classic digital alarm clock. Thank you to the developers and thank you also for continuing to update and adding new features. ❤️❤️❤️ There are way more possibilities besides just a simple perfect bedside clock by the way. That’s just how I currently use it. Could also be an awesome desk clock because you can add the date on there too. Thankfully, there is a setting for keeping the clock always on, just as you’d like, and additionally for only having this setting on when charging your device. Unfortunately, it's a bit TOO simple for me to give it five stars. It does have a number of options for changing the color, font, etc., which is why it confounds me that it doesn't have an option to display the date (a feature that even a circa-1980's clock radio would have). While I frequently have a watch on my wrist as a backup for the time, I sometimes forget the date or even the day of the week. Hence it would be nice to have that on here as a handy reference. **Developer response:** Jan 2021 Update: Thanks to your feedback, the current version now has the option to also display the date and also the option to display the day of the week. Most phones already have a clock, so not sure why this app is even needed…? **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback, McMouses. There may be no use for this app for many people. However, some people find it very useful at night to be able to glance at the time, without tapping a screen or pushing a button to see the time. The original intent of the “It’s About Time” clock is to use it as a bedside clock. Since iPhones, iPads, iPods, and Apple TVs screens do not stay on, some people find the app useful to keep the screen on always like a night time clock. Another use by some people is to keep the time visible while their device is charging, whether during a meeting, or sitting on their desk as a clock with custom colors and fonts and no advertising. But if the intent of “It’s About Time” app doesn’t help with either of these scenarios or other situations, you’re absolutely right that this app would have less use. This did the trick. I set it to black background, gray text, and I can sleep peacefully through the night, yet still see the time during the night if needed. Now a word about the developer. I had a question. I sent an email. I received a timely, friendly response that solved what I thought was an issue, but wasn’t. Kudos to you, Eddy Street Productions.
