## What is ITU?

The ITU-D Events application allows users to access to all relevant information and documents related to the major upcoming events of the Development Sector of ITU.

ITU (International Telecommunication Union) is the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies – ICTs.

The ITU-D is the Development sector that provides ICTs support to developing countries.

### 11 — 2026-02-21

The upcoming Featured Events are now dynamically listed in the home screen.

### 10 — 2026-02-14

This new release provides a more generic approach of the ITU-D Events, the main screen provides upcoming featured events when available, adds a list of all upcoming events and keeps the history of past featured events in an archives screen.

### 4.0 — 2025-10-05

New visuals for the Floorplan
Added version of the app on the main screen
Fixed a wrong target with some links

### 3.0 — 2025-06-20

This version is dedicated to the World Telecommunication Development Conference WTDC-25. Floorplans have been added in the main menu, replacing the publications.

### 2.0 — 2025-03-14

Better User interface by fixing a bug that made the main screen flicker when loading the list of events.
