I have 7 airport devices that are connected to a single Apple Mac Mini. Since moving from “iTunes” to “Music” I have found that a lot of features of Remote no longer work. I appreciate that it still works at all, but I wish that a new version was developed that would not just be backwards compatible but actually bring awesome new features for the people who have invested a lot of money purchasing music through Apple and from independent artists and have maintained it all on their Apple computers :-) ### 2/5 — Playlist Bugs *2026-07-15, version 4.5.1* Songs are played only one at a time ### 5/5 — awesome *2026-07-15, version 4.5.1* Works well. It doesn’t even show my proper device name, just iphone or ipad. I want to be able to control the music on my mac so I can get the benefit of the better eq on the mac and share to my homepods.. Apple’s Remote app lets me access, control and play that entire musical history across multiple devices. It quietly does something no streaming service can replace: it keeps a lifetime of personally collected music alive and accessible. Apple, please don’t take this away.
