It’s nice not to have ads, but I grew up with ads; and they are an opportunity to pop out and do something mid-program. Now I have to the telly 😏 The price £60pa has gone up quite a lot since the cheap offer I accepted. Works fine on a laptop but it’s infuriating on the tv. Sometimes it gets stuck in ad loops and closing the app doesn’t clear it. But even when functioning you will watch more ads than tv. Sent them the screen shots of the error message to get a reply of error must be my end. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app which was what I was told to do and didn’t work. Almost always forgets where I stopped watching and restarts an episode from the beginning. Just about managed to make it through a series I wanted to watch. Can’t believe people put up with this over the long term. If zero stars was an option, I’d award it to this app. Similar poor ux on tv running android. ### 1/5 — Terrible user experience when casting *2026-08-18, version 20.15.1* Terrible user experience when casting on Chromecast. App keeps crashing and stoping the show. I need to restart the app for it to work again. Also next episodes don’t play after the other and there is no option to resume watch.
