Probably 1/3 of my checks get held for review because the mobile check deposit part of this app is terrible and never works. Major issues. ### 3/5 — Update screen is irritating *2025-04-03, version 2025.2.2.3* I have enjoyed using the IUCU mobile app for a number years. Each iteration prior works very well, without visual irritations, and have been intuitive. The newest update is far less intuitive, and has seriously irritating flashing green boundaries on the check picture taking phase. Have they thought about people who have seizures? It is highly likely to trigger one with the flashing and non-stable screen. For those with visual over stimulation issues it is also very frustrating. Add to this it is not as intuitive as in the past. You open up the tab to mobile deposit a check, and it isn’t as straight forward as in the past. The rest of the app seems as straight forward as in the past. I guess they didn’t get the memo “If it ain’t broken don’t fix it”. This time: It’s broken. No more easy access to see all of your accounts at a glance. No more easy tap on the account you want to reference. Now you have to ask Ana by wasting added time typing in a request of what you want to see. Rather than seeing the front page and easily choosing what you want to do. This is a typical “the developers need more work to do. Let’s update the app and confuse our customers who were comfortable with the easier to use format.”. Please IUCU. Change this back to easy use. Also just needs a visual update in general. I get the cream and crimson theme but it’s visually very dated. All day today, I have attempted to log into my account only to receive an error message stating “online and mobile banking services are currently not available.” Not being able to access MY money/account is crazy.
