It worked great initially but then the app couldn’t find the camera anymore and it appears like it is trying to download the app. I’ve only used it a few times. It’s a bummer because it worked well when it was working. ### 3/5 — Can’t Export Videos *2021-01-03, version 1.0.2* The app is pretty simple and works well with my endoscope. It does have one major bug, however. The images and video isn’t stored in your camera roll, but in the app. If you try to export any images or video from the app, it crashes. The person who said they couldn’t get a clear picture probably wasn’t used to the shallow depth of field you get with a device like this. It is great for inspecting hard to reach areas and the dimmable light is a nice feature. Pros: it works well for the price point. Cons: Lots! The video is glitchy and freezes quite often. The files are a custom .avi format which makes them large and incompatible with many software programs. Videos and pics can’t be saved to the camera roll on your phone. What?? Last but not least when I even try to view a video it rotates the screen and moves the video to the bottom corner mostly off the screen. It is SUPER annoying. I have never given a 1 star review and probably would have given this a sold 4-star review if the app was even 1/2 way decent, but it is not. Oh and I forgot this thing devours power. Even though it has a rechargeable battery, you burn through it in about 10 minutes of continuous use. Note to app developer - you can fix all of these issues and have happy customers. All I wanted was a way to inspect some electronic parts and text pics to clients. I had an ear infection and was able to treat it with an herbal remedy and monitor my daily progress. The app was easy to use and saved all the photos on my iPhone 10S ### 5/5 — Great little device *2020-09-18, version 1.0.1* This thing is amazing for what it is. $40 to look in my ears without having to go to the doctor. Then I removed the I Phone adapter that came with the product and plugged in an official I phone USB adapter to the device instead of the third party adapter, and it immediately began working . So if you are having that problem then simply find an official I Phone uSB plug adapter, and it will work. Holpe that helps Someone who is frustrated with the device not working at first. ### 4/5 — Good for price *2019-04-01, version 1.0.1* With regard to other reviews who say that the app is stuck “searching”...be sure the plug is in completely and you will hear a beep. I had to reseat it a few times until it was fully in and then it worked fine. Image quality is good but you have to adjust brightness and go in the ear far enough to be in focus, and have your angle right. My one complaint is I can only view the saved images in the app. I can’t find the files on the phone to upload to my EMR like I can if they were saved with cell phone camera photos. Update: changed to 4 stars. The files do save in the photo section of phone. There was just a delay before they started arriving there.
