Die Aufteilung in zwei Bereiche klappt, auch der Transfer zwischen dem lokalen Bereich und dem Firmenbereich. Aber, leider ist die App im Detail nicht durchdacht, wenn man mit vielen Dateien arbeitet, wie z.B. Fotos, dann muss man aufwändig jedes einzelne Fotos in den manuellen Bereich einfügen. Diese Restriktion behindert und ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Bitte dringend Ändern! Arbeitszeit ist kostbar und sollte nicht mit technischen Restriktionen verschwendet werden. Es fehlen allerdings multiple Funktionalitäten um ein digitales Arbeiten zu unterstützen: - keine Massenupload-Möglichkeit von importierten Dokumenten oder gar Ordnern - auf dem Server lassen sich nicht mehrere Dateien auf einmal verschieben/kopieren/teilen/... - kommentieren per ApplePencil ist langsam - die Reaktionszeiten sind ein Graus - und die Striche werden nur ungenau erkannt/dargestellt. - uvm Es gibt viele Programme, die das um Längen besser können. It’s an absolutely awful application that barely works. It’s rarely updated - iOS 18 was announced in June of 2024, released in September of 2024, but Ivanti wasn’t updated to officially support it until the end of January 2025. Its sole purpose in life is to be a basic “is this device compliant or not” app, which plenty of other services do without requiring a dumpster app like this. If you’re in IT and you’re considering putting this on employee devices, just don’t. It’s a waste of time, energy, and makes your department look like dingalings for not picking a better tool for MDM. ### 1/5 — Can’t open attachments *2024-05-07* New app is crappy. Can’t open attachments directly. Have to go thru multiple clicks of downloading and searching before you can open document. Trash ### 1/5 — Gutes Beispiel für echt schlechte Software *2020-02-04* docs@work ist ein gutes Beispiel wie man Software echt schlecht gestalten und vor allem pflegen kann. Die App unterscheidet zwischen Online- und lokalem Speicher. Die Arbeitsweise damit ist maximal unergonomisch: 1. Neue Dokumente können vom Anwender ausschließlich im lokalen Speicher angelegt oder importiert werden. 2. Von dort müssen die Dateien dann zur Sicherung einzeln und manuell auf den jeweiligen Cloud-Speicher kopiert werden. Hat man eine Vielzahl an Dokumenten wird der Anwender hier schon einmal wahnsinnig. 3. Da die Dateien nun doppelt sind, muss der Anwender im nächsten Schritt noch jedes auf den Cloud-Speicher geladenes Dokument noch einzeln löschen. Wenn der Anwender nun einige Dateien z. B. für einen Flug Offline mitnehmen möchte, geht das ganze Spiel in die andere Richtung los. Von erweiterten Funktionen wie - automatisiertes synchronisieren von Dokumenten / Pfaden - Unterstützung von Side-by-Side-Darstellung zweite Anwendungen - Drag & Drop - Dateien-App Integration (Document Provider) - ... wollen wir bei docs@work gar nicht erst reden. Das diese App im Durchschnitt nur eine 1.5 Sterne Bewertung bekommt (wobei ein Stern ja das absolute minimum ist) spricht Bände. Wer seinen Anwendern etwas Gutes tun möchte, sollte Sie nicht mit App-Produkten der Firma MobileIron quälen. P.S. wie man eine gute Dokumenten-Management-App für iOS baut, kann man z. B. an der Nextcloud App sehen, mit der man aus meiner Sicht als Anwender gut arbeiten kann. ### 1/5 — Aktuell unbrauchbar *2019-10-24* Unter iOS 13.2 (aber auch 13.1) schließt sich die App leider auf dem iPhone automatisch sobald eine Datei geöffnet wird. Funktioniert recht gut. Editieren von PowerPoint, Excel, Word geht (nicht perfekt, aber ok). Filesync klappt. PDF Export klappt. Ohne die App wäre ich aufgeschmissen. ### 4/5 — Attachment solution: *2016-12-14, version 2.1* SOLUTION: The “MobileIron” app that used to open the documents disappeared from my phone with their recent update – that’s why I couldn’t open attachments. As indicated in other reviews, other users have discovered the same problem. MobileIron has a NEW COMPANION APP to open the attachments: · · Download the app “MobileIron Docs@Work” · When you go to open an attachment (or the app, directly), choose “Copy to Docs@Work” … it will ask for your Passcode o This is NO LONGER the 5-digit code you previously set-up – that was erased in the update. If you try to enter that code, you will be locked out for five minutes. o INSTEAD, choose “FORGOT CODE”,then follow the instructions: § Enter your Username and Password for your work accounts § Devise a new 8 character password § Re-enter the new 8 character password o You should now have access to your attachments. You will need to enter the longer, stronger, password each time you open the app, or if you are away from it for too long.
